Controversial but I think Antons making it SO much harder for Emma, talking over the judges and always being so rude and dismissive of any criticism, even Emma looks awkward! She's like a poor kid stuck in the middle

I like Shirl usually, but she was unnecessarily harsh to Emma B. It wasn't nice. Somehow, when Craig is harsh it never seems mean, or personal. That said, we didn't give a sympathy vote. I voted Emma W (mainly because of Aljaz ), DD1 voted Michelle and Gio, and DD2 voted Emma W too (because she was copying me).
I though Karim was best tonight, Chris was awful!!!! Really, looked poor.

Karim outclassed the rest tonight with his excellent Quickstep - no stage school tricks just pure Ballroom dance.

I was very disappointed with Emma/Anton and Saffron but loved AJ.
Kelvin's outfits don't do him any favours. his dance choreography.

Alex's Foxtrot a bit lacking in Ginger Rogers style.
Anton was unnecessarily rude to Shirley.
Michelle was let down by the choreography/costume, both unsuitable for the Paso despite her own input to both.
Mike Bushell was a refreshing performance who made me smile.
Chris also a good performance tonight.
The background lighting is too blue on my TV. I have a feeling it may be a shock couple in the DO.

Does anyone have a screen shot of the leaderboard please? I was doing chores and watching the dancing intermittently so managed to miss it. Really want Mike to go in the teeth of the shameless rigging in his favour, wouldn’t be too sad if Emma B went. I voted for Emma W because more Aljaz ballroom is always good. Hoping Alex is safe.

Made it to the end - had to pause lots as DS would not go to sleep!

I love Chris a little bit more. The dance was ridiculous but he did it well.
I'm not a fan of Saffron but she got a crap song.
Shirley was very harsh to Emma B but Anton didn't help by talking over her.
Not Michelle's best, but never having even heard of her before Strictly, I like her.
Emma W is growing on me.
Mike got lucky with a style which suited him this week, where Emma B got unlucky. Katya is an amazing choreographer.
Kelvin has good, but something weird going on with his outfit,

I would agree with pp that Motsi now adds nothing but hot air.

Motsi is dreadful, she gives no technical feedback at all. My dog could do better. Seriously where is her dancing knowledge? She adds nothing.
Poor Emma B, Anton is so rude.
Not keen on the other Emma.
Don't think this series is very good. All a bit disappointing.

I have to say I liked the rumba. And I love Anton. Mainly because he looks like all the men in my family and I think he’s bloody amazing considering how old he is. On the other hand, my sister hates him and is totally horrified that he looks like us

But I doubt the beeb will get rid of her or Motsi.

Joining in with no knowledge whatsoever, don't know about Shirley - Anton back story but he was bloody rude and she clearly didn't like it. Her face reminded me of mine when DD talks back and over me. So I have some sympathy for her. No clue whether the dancing was good, I'm mostly not a rumba fan and that didn't change anything

Had to go to a window dedication and concert in church tonight so just finished watching... Loved Chris. Glad to see the NO Spoiler in the headline. Was really angry when certain posters spoilt it last week and then feigned ignorance!!!!

Tbf presumably Shirl is in a lot of pain. Maybe they should have had Alfonzo in for her - I’d like to see him and Bruno on the same panel.

So... Anton and a rhumba shouldn’t be allowed? Just makes my whole body scream Nooooo start to finish. And then he was rude to the judges again. Poor poor Emma, whoever said she’s like an awkward kid in the middle of divorcing parents was spot on.

Mike Bushel is useless and Katya also annoying. Well overdue to go.

Didn't see bullying by shirley, just anton being very rude.

I think he thinks he’s charming and funny. Like a cheeky six year old. He doesn’t seem to realise he’s a middle aged bloke with responsibilities.

Mike and Katya won't be bottom 2 they are mid table.

OOf. Better dances this week than Halloween week, thankfully. Anton is completely unsexy; Emma looked like the pro dancer there. Lovely extensions and lines. What’s the beef with anton and Shirley??

I liked Mike and Katya. Might not be technically best but was entertaining!

Motsi is a shite judge. No substance to anything she says. She’s all about you gave it your all, you came out’ but no specific feedback that they can action. Gah.

Loved Karim was like an old school/musicals dance
Michelle was very stompy not enough shaping, didn’t agree with judges at all
Laughed out loud to Chris and Karen and what a lovely family he has! Viscountess was stiff at times, dance did not suit her, Alex did better her dance suited her.
Love AJ his dancing is phenomenal but cannot take to Saffron and her pushy showbiz parents did not take the criticism well.
Loved Oti and Kelvin but the judges have taken against him for some odd reason
Time for Mike to go, I don’t find him funny and think he has zero personality Katya has tried hard, bless her but time to go.
Anton was raging at Shirley but Emma wasn’t that good and Shirley does know what she’s talking about,
lovely to see Will, what an inspiration he is.

In fairness to Anton, he only started speaking over Shirley after Shirley had started absolutely laying into Emma and we had all had a bit of a gasp. Then he got really pissed off and didn't care about showing it. Tbh I didnt really blame him as there was no need for her tone. She had already entered her score after all so it's not as if him talking back affected the scoring.

Can't wait to see what Monkseal says.
