It's a fact. It's a truth we won't deny at 9pm tonight.

Oh god!!!!!

Oooohhh I like the treasure hunt task

carrots555 · 23/10/2019 21:59

That's odd. He doesn't normally go to their house and give them the next task like that.

SmilingButClueless · 23/10/2019 22:03

Shame he wasn’t there for a surprise firing

JaneJeffer · 23/10/2019 22:05

I thought he was Smiling. Disappointed!

ellenanora5 · 23/10/2019 22:09

Thought Thomas was a goner there for a few minutes, I don't think I saw Luba until the cafe.

Marianne can hold her own so far, wonder what she'll be like as PM

I don't watch Your're Fired anymore, so catch you all soon

Thanks for the thread dillite

Lubna - I couldn't stand any more weeks of looking like a twat on TV!

Bellasblankexpression · 23/10/2019 22:28

Just finished on catch up - my eye started twitching every time they said “sophisticated Sarah” by the end.

Thomas is unbearable. He’s so so aggressive and shouty an domineering.

I actually find Lottie highly entertaining even though she drives me mad at the same time. Her arrogance is truly something to behold.
Should have been a double firing. Actually he should have got rid of all three of them.

NigesFakeWalkingStick · 23/10/2019 22:47

Good episode but I wanted to pull my teeth out every time sophisticated Sarah got mentioned.

Aisha was lucky, if her team would have lost she'd been fired. As it stands however she's the PM on the team that got the most amount of sales in Apprentice history I think? Turn of events that Grin

Can't stand Lottie but in a weird way she's appealing. She's just so self indulgent and deluded it's hilarious. She did make quite a few good points about bikes (I used to be a road cyclist, so know the bag).

Marianne annoys me, but is fiesty. Reminds me of her American counterpart Jackie from last year who always had a well put together argument for when shit went down. Thomas is great but clearly doesn't know where the boundaries are. I love Ryan-Mark Grin

I reckon Lottie will go far for entertainment value. I also reckon Lewis will do alright.

SouthWestmom · 23/10/2019 22:49

I like Thomas although he makes me think of an overgrown toddler.
Marianne is not pleasant and Lottie is just annoying. Lubya had to go this time. Aisha has a very unfortunate voice which distracts me from anything she says.

Poetryinaction · 23/10/2019 23:10

1.2 million!!

AutumnCrow · 23/10/2019 23:16

Yeah but the profit was probably crap. 'Orders, £1.2 million.' 'And the cost of delivering those orders?' 'Oh, sorry, Lord Sugar, we haven't got a Scooby.'

I think Dragons Den would have something to say about all this.

Actually that's a good idea for a charity special.

Poetryinaction · 23/10/2019 23:40

Lottie for the win. Isn't she 19 or something? Just putting it out there.

NigesFakeWalkingStick · 24/10/2019 07:04

@Poetryinaction yup, 19 and a librarian.

ScreamingCosArgosHaveNoRavens · 24/10/2019 07:41

I'm not convinced that was a boardroom record - didn't they make more than that a few years ago when they had to sell apartments?

Skinnychip · 24/10/2019 07:42

Sophisticated sarah reminded me of some puppets at my kids primary school (one of them was called Percy perserverance, can't remember the others). Every time she wittered a little scenario about Sophisticated Sarah it was really cringey. I thought the indicator helmets were good (better than the awful mamil style lycra) though but the bike was unbelievably ugly. I couldn't believe their sows (sales) figures.

My 10 year old would have been put off by the babyish rocket on the orange/red bike....how and when did it evolve to only red? I actually felt Lottie made a few valid points that were overlooked.
And the treats seem really budget this year, and nothing like the extravagant ones offered in previous series.

ScreamingCosArgosHaveNoRavens · 24/10/2019 07:56

The orange bike would have been much better with the white trim. Lottie's point about white trim getting dirty was silly - if it's dirty, it's dirty - dirt would still be visible on orange trim, and it's not time-consuming to wipe a bike down if it's muddy.

Both bikes looked like something you'd hire that had been deliberately painted to be both conspicuous and unattractive to thieves. The red one reminded me of a wheelchair we hired for my mum last summer at a wildlife park.

Skinnychip · 24/10/2019 08:19

The red bike looked like a boris bike.

My DH says every week he'd rather go to the greasy spoon cafe than whatever the groupon deal treat Suralan has arranged.

peppinanna · 24/10/2019 08:21

I hope Ryan mark makes it to the final I would love to know his business plan!

Beveren · 24/10/2019 09:32

It was obvious that Lubna was going to go, which is no doubt why Thomas chose her. Sugar always goes for the one who doesn't make sales, and he likes wide-boy pushy salesman types. But logically it's ridiculous; if she'd made as many sales as Thomas did, it still wouldn't have saved the task. If he chose on the basis of who was actually responsible for the loss, it should have been Thomas because he just didn't have control - and a track record of being on four losing teams and being PM for the one that failed most spectacularly is seriously dismal.

EasyLifer · 24/10/2019 09:59

I've just googled the testicle bike lights and you can actually buy them! DH cycles to work, I'm very tempted to surprise him with a pair of luminous bollocks for Christmas!

x2boys · 24/10/2019 10:03

This was the first one I have watched this year I kept forgetting it was on . Aisha ,sounds like Sunita from Corrie, so when they sell stuff to companies or develop a comic ( like they did last year) it's all theoretical than ? I always wondered about that .

Beveren · 24/10/2019 11:30

I wish someone could persuade Sugar to say "the greatest amount of sales" instead of the most amount.

Skinnychip · 24/10/2019 11:52

Do you mean sows?

theproudgeek · 24/10/2019 13:57

Interesting that when Aisha's team won, no-one gave her a hug, even when they came out the boardroom and everyone was congratulating each other. I get the impression she may the closest thing we've seen to an introvert on the show.
