When they arrived, they moved in with Masood and didn't pay him rent. He was broke and asked for the money to be backpaid and they got offended and paid him a wad of cash. Somehow or other, he had enough money to buy into the restaurant which he sold and delivered to max with approx. ten minutes just before he got into a taxi.
What about the auntie and uncle being foster parents? Wouldn't they have to sign off all paperwork to take themselves off the system? Then all their foster kids arrived with a few hours notice (and despite obviously living nearby, they had never visited before) and apart from one of them getting a hug, the rest of them made the journey just to stand and wave at a taxi. What a wasted journey for them!
I can't tell the sisters by name but what did one of them mean by she was going to move back in? I didn't realise she had moved out. Where? With her girlfriend? How was she paying rent? From a few sandwiches with Keegan?
I'm sorry to see auntie and uncle go too. I like seeing older people, reliable, smart, dependable sort of people on the square. Its as if Dot is back and there is only room for two families (Dot and Patrick) with an OAP so the others have to shift off. Its the same as when they bumped Pam and Les off.
I prefer to see 'solid' type people in EE than the gangster rubbish.
I did feel sorry for Mel this evening. I hope she makes her way to Portugal. Lisa is as flaky as ever. Surely she would encourage Louise to get away from Phil as fast as she could.
I think partly the reason Honey gave the travel vouchers away was because she heard they weren't bought for her at all but also because she would have to wear a bikini.
