Yeah, Gaffney fell prey to his own inability to keep it in his trousers. It was ever thus - I remember when I was at uni, over 20 years ago, and Gaffney doing the sleaze in all the grim Kentish nightclubs. I think Rubes bought the flat from Jack as he lost 75 k when Raine was stitched up by random man in a London hotel and he had to sell up quickly to recover his losses. Did Adam buy his flat too? I think that's correct.

I don’t really understand the bit about the villa in Portugal. Are we supposed to think that Sharon bought it without Phil knowing? Or has she duped Phil in some way? I thought they didn’t have that much spare cash? Phil was on his uppers not that long ago, and Sharon emptied her bank account to pay cash to Mel when she asked for it.

Can you actually fetch up in Portugal and live there? I think some EU countries expect people to have capital, jobs etc. Also the Algarve isn't a tropical paradise, winters can be cold and wet.
