I always think Emma looks a bit wide eyed and starey - bit Botox'd??

I think Emma B looks like a really smiley rabbit caught in really bright and terrifying headlights.

If I were a film director, she would be my go-to casting for the woman who in the beginning seems perfectly normal and then before you know it, has single-white-female-d you/boiled your bunny.

I think Emma always looked petrified because apparently she's always wanted to be in SCD, and now she is, they've lumbered her with Anton :/

I have a feeling that we’re going to get a surprise exit this weekend. Not necessarily a strong one like Kelvin, but someone mid-level who’d have been expected to last to Halloween. Emma might be in trouble if they do a particularly silly Austin Powers routine, for example.

Until David James has gone I don't think there will be a surprise exit.

I feel like Mike is going to be this years contestant who overstays their welcome at the expense of better dancers. I suspect a combination of popularity from being a BBC breakfast presenter, his willingness to get stuck in and Katya’s patented throw everything at it in an attempt to distract from the crap dancing crazy choreography might even see him through to Blackpool.

Yes, I also have that worry. Although I'm not sure Katya is very well liked, so maybe that will sway things.

Completely agree @covetingthepreciousthings - imagine your wish coming true, only to find that Anton is your partner! Gutted!

I hope Mike doesn't stay too long - he doesn't have Chris Hollin's likeability in my opinion and nor does Katya have Ola's popularity. I do think Katya is amazing though and her core strength must be off the charts to pull off the moves she does. I hated Sean but the matrix moves she did dancing with him were phenomenal.

I have never said this, but I think that this should be Anton’s last Strictly

I think with Len gone and Darcey gone, the dynamic of the show has got so much better. Just need Anton gone (easily replaced with Gorka or Graziano) and the show will be better than ever.

And as Giovanni and Kevin have shown, you can take an older female dancer and get her to dance well without making them look like a joke - we all know that's what Anton would have done had he got Michelle or Anika.

According to The Sun James is livid he was booted off first and thought it should have been Michelle Visage dunno what poor Michelle did to him.

Definitely agree, I don't think I'd have so much of a problem if he replaced Tess, and it was him & Claude, but he just doesn't know how to get the best out of his partners like the others, it's such a shame for Emma B. I'm glad he didn't get Michelle.

Oh and the right ones went last night! Let's hope SCD continues in a more sensible manner But the lighting is ridiculously OTT. Will we ever see a GREEN Strictly I wonder !!!

You can't believe what you read in the Sun. A jounalist may have said, "Are you upset about being booted out?", to which he replied, "Yes I'm livid!", with a grin.

And I'll love her forever for getting Ed Balls to do 'Gangnam Style'. I LOVED that, it's still my 'go to' when I need cheering up! 🙂

Me too! It was just wonderful. I loved his comment on that "strictly pros" programme where he said something like he'd gone from being chancellor to sliding under the crotch of a Russian dancer 😂

Having heard James speaking about Strictly , there is no way on earth he would have said Michelle should have gone before him as anything other than a joke. If he said anything of the sort (although I don't think the Sun necessarily makes things up completely, I think they are adept as using things out of context and half truths etc)

James has denied the sun story on his Twitter. Said he knows he's a bad dancer. Believe him, as an athlete he must be used to losing. Who to believe a well respected Olympian or the Sun
