Have just watched ITT and like others, I'm worried for James Cracknell. Luba was very lovely about him but having seen Ian Waite's warm ups, his dancing is too timid for a jive. Let's hope he improves!

Catherine Tyldesley (?) is very complainy isn't she? Does come across a bit like she might not be enjoying the experience as much as others.

I think if I lost a toenail through dance training I'd complain too, probably a lot more than Catherine did (I'm not at all stoic). She does seem a bit disillusioned, like she's finding it all much harder than she expected.

Ru wears long gowns mostly - he is famous for never tucking at this hour of his life unless he needs to - but you still have to have slender arms.

That is very true he has a dress to get into and when he is done up he is very slender

There was a contestant called Roxxxy Andrews who looked fairly average size in street clothes, but was trolled on the Internet for being fat. He wasn't! But it was giving him body issues.

I suspect it's harder to be in the middle like that. Cos there are two main looks - fat comedy queens or super skinny fashion queens.

Kelvin is built more like Gene Kelly than Fred Astaire. Both fantastic partner and solo dancers but with different styles which complimented their statures. Ballroom dancers are usually more on the slender, graceful side especially for the standard ballroom dances if not so much for the latin.
I am looking forward to seeing how the contestants cope with the different styles and expressions of all the various dances.
I think it was unfair for Anneka to start with the very energetic Jive and that her partner Kevin is a tad shorter than she is doesn't help.
The young man who danced last is definitely an accomplished performer but hope he can adapt his style to fit the rest of the dances to come.
