I'm watching Bake off. I always watch it with DD2.

DD1 is too cool to watch it with me now

I forgot Bake Off was on - haven't watched it at all this year - for the first time since it started!

It has been a strange series, I haven't been quite as engaged with it as normal- and some of the challenges have been plain daft.

They're not trying to make it all trendy are they??

Not really sure what they are doing Spidey- but the themes are a bit tenuous- last week was 'festival week' and they did a strange grilled cake that looked a bit rubbery.

It's all gone a bit style over substance.

It's pastry week this week, so back to basics, which I prefer.

I like looking at David. I was exclaiming at his beauty last week when the camera switched to Paul Hollywood and DH said "him?!" yuk

Yes, David is very easy on the eye.

Case in point- what the holy heck is Warqa pastry (something Moroccan , apparently).

There's so much wastage on the programme. Steph is always stressed. Chill out woman! I love Henry.

Henry makes me laugh. He is like a young Mr Bean.

I'm afraid I've never watched Bake Off.

But, in other news, I'm sure you'll all be pleased to know that Murray won, taking the second set on a tie break.

I’ve been watching the bake off - I wasn’t happy about tonight’s result! Jane I admire David’s symmetrical face every week - he is very easy on the eye!

Ireland are playing Switzerland in the Euro qualifier and I'm shocked at the state of the pitch. I thought the Swiss would have it pristine. Maybe one of Stan's relatives is the groundsman.

I'm not happy either.
