I've just brought my dog a new tennis ball

He's chewed half of it already. He really doesn't get the concept of 'fetch'.

It's funny, because he isn't a chew-er really. But he's not happy with this ball.

I was out last night and I'm feeling a bit hungover today. I'm just lazing around watching Rick Stein instead of all the things I should be doing.

American football has started over here and DH is a total fanatic so no chance of watching the tennis together. Luckily we have more than one TV!!

I am looking forward to the final- but I need it to be a straightforward quick win.

I’d have loved Azarenka to win the women’s doubles.

Preparing to settle myself with everything I need for 9pm. I’m also hoping it will be relatively quick, unless that means it isn’t going Rafa’s way, of course. I too have to be up for 6am. Rule of thumb I’ve found on the time estimating for a Rafa match is to allow an hour per set, and he may then come in under. But each set can take an hour.

He does take a while to get going ,Well .

I'm hoping tonight he will make an exception.

Medvedev has got to be feeling the amount of tennis he has played recently. Although, when you think about it, it's the same as Rafa when he has a good clay season- it's a lot of tennis, in a short space of time.
