Monfils and Shaggy looked like a titanic struggle from the scoreline.

I wished I'd watched more of the Monfils match! It looked entertaining and close. Unlike Kyrgios. But I didn't realise til it was nearly over!

Anyone else look at the BBC sport app for tennis and find it really confusing? Looking under live scores and it has the Gauf v Osaka match up but also the Konta match and Serena match etc which don't start to the afternoon session today. And order of play is confusing too. Must be to do with the time difference but I think it's counter intuitive.

tobee I tend to use the ATP / or US open app. I gave up on the BBC years ago when they changed something. I'm easily confused.

Barty is currently looking likely to be the latest big name to go out unless she turns this around at the 11th hour!

Fizzy I saw that- so lovely of her. Definitely shows what real grace and maturity is- which some people (nearly 20 years older) could do with learning from.

I love Osaka Fizzy. It was a bit uncomfortable watching Coco being interviewed because she was so upset, but then Osaka massively praised her in front of the whole crowd, so that was probably great for her as well. Really sweet move by Naomi.
