I hope that Cilic wins - I want him to do well but would still want Rafa to win if they did play each other.

Oh, it goes without saying that I'd want Rafa to win in a Marin/Rafa match- but I really like Marin, he's had such a rubbish year- I want him to beat Isner.

And he's won the first set. Mac sounds disappointed.

Are they going to say that Diego is short.

I love Marin and I'm so pleased he's doing well here - as in, winning matches he should be winning. I bloody hope he beats Isner!! I would not want Rafa to play Isner either.

No, Mac, Djok's shoulder was barely niggling him.

Just excuses on the backburner, for when they lose. Serena is good at those.

Rafa has a 7-1 winning hth over Isner- but I still wouldn't want him playing him. Mainly because I can't stand Isner.

Mac now thinks he is Kasparov.

I was impressed with the player who played him in his first match (Johnson?) who called him out and said can we just play tennis. I wish more players would do that - it’s got to be annoying for his opponents when he’s dicking about.

I feel sorry for his opponents. I feel sorry for the umpires.

I don't know why we are having to listen to the excuses now Are they even watching this match? .

Other sports have sanctions where you don't get to play when you behave like a dick.

Tennis needs to stop caring so much about about the feelings of the top players. If they cared, they'd stop.

I do prefer the black- and on Rafa , it doesn't look as grubby as it does on some (sorry, but Murray in black always looks in need of a wash).

The biased commentary really does get on my nerves, I know Isner's American, I know it's the US open, but give Marin some credit, ffs. He's the former champion.

I don't know who's commentating but one of them has just said that they would never write Cilic off because of what he has achieved.
