The photos were of Hertford College, Oxford. The bridge between the college buildings is similar in style to the Bridge of Sighs in Venice but not a copy - it's much less grand from the inside.

Don t know about ‘new’ bathroom. It looked more like something out of the 1950s.
She definitely just dropped her phone in the bath.
Those photos did look like Venice. How long have we got until the term starts at oxford?

Oxford term starts first week in October. Slight correction on the bridge - it's still the one at Hertford College but I think it's a scaled model based on the Rialto bridge in Venice - not that it makes much difference.

Bex knows about the adoption and that she used to be called Chloe. She had an argument with Sonia when she became a goth and said she wanted to be known as Chloe.

Yes every few generations someone needs to go to Uni, it is norm these days! Keagen could have done well and I really hope whatever business he picks does well. Shame Tiff is doing a beauty course, in reality she be qualified work for mim wage doing someone’s nails. At least if she did hair dressing she could have earning potential. Poor Bernie, they haven't even given her a decent course have they?

It was good to see someone doing something positive in a soap such as Tiff going willingly to college. I agree that hair would have been better, but it was still nice to see.
I hope that Bex goes to uni too. She needs to get some space away from her mum.
A working class girl going to Oxford is also a good message. (She might even meet up with Libby!)
Keegan next to sort himself out.

The Lucy ghost is blurry so I presume it is a similar but different actress

I have no idea what Bernie is meant to be doing. She should have been doing GCSEs I thought but got "an A" at the time AS results came out. It makes no sense at all.

Ghost Lucy doesn't seem to get a credit (on yesterday's episode anyway) so I assume it is an Extra and not the original actress playing her.

Gibger Somebody said earlier in the thread that the producers got the same actress to come back to film these scenes.

I wish they had never got tid if Lucy. She was a great actress as was Abi Branning who was one of the best young actresses EE has had for as long as I’ve been watching (over 20 years). Bailey isn’t a patch on them and only for having such an emotional storyline there wouldn’t have been much notice taken of her.

I saw Hetti Bywater in Death on Paradise and, from what I remember, she was basically just Lucy Beale in a beach.

I hated Lucy and Abi as characters so probably doesn't help my liking the actresses but I think they were average at best.

Quick Google says they have cut old scenes of Hetti with a body double for the ghost scenes
