With Bobby we could have 2 sides of Islam, person from prison trying to radicalise him v the Ahmeds being kind welcoming loving people. It could be an interesting story if they did it properly.

I don't think that Mitch and Denise will be watching Chantelle closely at all. She will explain leaving the competition as feeling sick due to pregnancy. Karen will tell Mitch.

I hope the domestic violence storyline isn't going to run until Xmas. What great Xmas viewing :(

I don't know if Hunter was to blame Somma. Mel got him involved, brought Ray in and out of his life, set Ray up without telling Hunter what she was doing and then sprang it on Hunter at the end. She brought Hunter with her to deal with Ray in the woods. He also shot Ray while trying to protect his mother. She never told the police the truth and allowed him to take the full blame for Ray's death.

Is she going to bribe Sharon in order to get enough money to set up a new life abroad? I hope she isn't going to leave.

'Mr Annoying' 's character is great. I presume he will now move in with Jean or both of them will run off to explore the world and live out their dreams as they have a short time left?

I would love if EE did a radicalisation storyline but WAY too controversial esp given the anniversary of 9/11 was just this week. You'd never know if the writers timed it to coincide. I can't see the BBC doing it though.

I'm finding the Chantelle storyline very difficult for personal reasons, and I suspect there is worse to come, as statistics show us that domestic violence incidents increase during pregnancy. :(

The "How are they related?" game is a minefield in EastEnders, it's a the spaghetti junction of relationships - all wrapped around one another, entangled, and impossible to negotiate.

Also, I really hope they resist the temptation to take Bobby down the radicalisation path. When he first came back i was really disappointed when it seemed that was the way his storyline was going, but I think they could do a really positive storyline of (shock, horror) white British boy finds comfort in Islam, and meets an Imam who helps and supports him through his troubles.

Rainie berating Kathy about Bobby being mentally ill when she is heading towards a prescription drug dependency herself ( plus her own very dodgy background) was just typical Rainie! She always winds me up. She never tries to help anyone at all , it's all about her. I feel sorry for baby Abi.
Jean is such a good actress. The two most annoying characters in EE going off together would be great though.
I hope Bobby gets some help. Living in that home must be a nightmare. Why isn't he being monitored?

Raine is a bad ‘in for sure. She is capable of anything. As soon as Kathy ENCOURAGED her to take painkillers, you could see where the storyline was going. What was Kathy’s experience with drugs? I can’t remember but she said she knew from experience that a drug user taking controlled painkillers would do more good than harm? Once medication dries up, will see revert to drugs surely?

Stuart warned Rainie about taking the painkillers , but she just kept on doing it.
She should be over her injuries by now and trying to do without them.

The DV story must be really hard to watch for anyone that's lived through it or going through something similar.

A better angle may have been a new couple moving there that wasn't related to anyone ; a man isolating his wife and her having nobody to turn to. Instead we have the situation where Chantelle could , in effect, get her family involved and get some help but she isn't doing so. He agreed to move there for her to be close to family , which isn't something a person like Gray would do in real life.
Anyway, let's hope we see her take him on and it's all positive. Be interesting to see what they do with the characters and how it's resolved.

Raine told Kathy she couldn’t take painkillers because she was a drug addict. Kathy was the one who told her (insisted) she would be fine taking painkillers. She was really pushy about it. She said she knew from previous experience that Raine wouldn’t revert to drugs. Maybe this is a way to free up her character from carrying baby Abi around. Once they make women parents in EE, the storylines centre mainly around that which makes for very boring viewing.

Who is looking after Cheryl now that Kat is with Jean, Whitney is away, Tiff is gone, Jean is in hospital. Cheryl and Arthur have disappeared (good!) but a reference surely to explain their miraculous childcare would be nice.

The children do tend to just disappear. It's been a gripe of mine for years ; how they can all be in the pub or up the hospital etc and childcare is rarely addressed. Stacey left Arthur with Kush , but how he is coping working full time on the stall and looking after him isn't even thought about! Baby Cherry isn't even one yet, but she hasn't got a mum or dad caring for her and left to her own devices most of the time it seems!
I know it's not real life, but it is annoying.

The new Bobby is very good actor I hope they don’t just send him away for months on end. Though I also hope do more with Bailey with good story lines.

I'm no fan of Rainie but getting Abi away from that was a very good idea.

They always seem to end big stories same time. So we had months of Halfway gay story, then it came out the world didn’t end and all carry on as normal. Ditto Hunter and Dentists affair.

Least they are sticking to the babies always come i clusters with Lou, Sharon and Chantel now all due in a few months.

I did enjoy the siblings getting drunk with the trumpet that’s something that would happen (well defo in my family!)
