He probably didn’t have a son until The Easties writers decided they needed him for another Whitney and Tiffany storyline.
Then they magiced him up out of thin air. Note to producers. There are other actors besides Tiffany and Whitney. Not so much Tiffany but any dramatic storyline seems to be given to Whitney.
Also Is anyone else have difficulties trying to work out what accent hes speaking.

I don’t think Mitch is on to Gray at all, I think he doesn’t like him because he’s everything he isn’t - successful, good dad, happy husband (or so it seems) . If anything I would say Mitch is jealous.
Karen didn’t have much to do with Chantelle until recently & considering her life she will be blinded by the big house, nice clothes & money for quite a while. They’ve done well with this story because from the outside he is the last person you would expect to behave like this. Stuart being a wife beater would be just what people would expect, not Gray with his posh voice & smart suit.

I agree @nancy75, always thought Mitch was jealous rather than having any kind of insight into Gray's character. Perversely I also think Mitch will be delighted when the story comes out as he's a very selfish character, so will love being able to say he was right all along.

I thought maybe the reason Chantelle kept Karen at arms length was because she'd pick up on a gray? I'd imagine a Keenan would eventually see through his persona?
I think the fact she knows everyone is behind her because she's no longer alienated is what's giving her the strength to stand up to him.

Poor Chantelle. I didn’t like her at first, but She’s playing an excellent part.

The selfish bitch going on to a women who has just lost her son about wanting them all living together in Portugal as a family, and Getting upset because her DD is living over the road. Like Mel gives a hoot about Lisa’s or anyone’s hopes dreams and ambitions.

I am also intrigred as to how anyone will find out about Chantelle - Keegan was living there for a while, but it seems his gone back to Karen.

I was glad Mel snapped at Lisa the way she did. Lisa was being really insensitive. Rabbiting on about going in bloody holiday and flippantly saying “once hunters funeral is over we’ve no reason to stay”! as if she was talking about a house sale or something, not burying her son! Not leaving behind a lifetime of memories (good and bad) Lisa’s a selfish idiot. Why on earth did she’s think Louise would be living with her? She hasn’t lived with her for years and the last time she saw her she kidnapped her while she was seriously ill and almost let her die!
