Agree good episode, Mel actually made me well up several times. I think police shot hunter too, maybe Lou will lose the baby from the trauma and bens not out of the woods yet, Keanu will be fine I reckon since there's still too much storyline left there and he was only hit in the shoulder, dunno about ben tho. Will Mel get done for harbouring Hunter I wonder or will she leave with Lisa - not a spoiler I assume she'll go now as hunters gone but could be wrong!

You should have watched it a few years back. The bins not being emptied every week got it's own duff duff. Although I am quite a fan of slow paced story lines myself about every day things and didn't mind.

Oh I do remember that!! do you know I think I prefer duff duffs about the bins rather than all this heavy drama we’re being bombarded with constantly. Ive been watching classic EE and Arthur is obsessed with the history of an old bugle he found. It’s taking up a huge amount screen time. In today’s EE that would only be a prelude to a massive dramatic storyline.

I hope Mel isn’t leaving. I love her character. Seeing her hold Hunter at the end was very moving. I remember when they both arrived to the square and she was so besotted by him. The only reason he ended up in prison was trying to protect her, I always felt she let him take the rap for her.

I was hoping Jack would be shot. I suppose that cements his decision to return to the police force now. He was bent before wasn’t he? Someone remind me please???

As for Lola making her move on Jay when there was an armed escaped prisoner holding the pub to ransom! Did I mention I can’t stand Lola! I also find her having a relationship with Jay bordering on incesteous as Jay once saw Billy as a father figure (an awful father figure!)

The main reason Lisa always shrieks is because all her scenes are with Phil and their history is shrieking and shouting at one another.
