I think he’s done it to get on love island for the fame. I heard an interview with his brother and mum and apparently Curtis was approached by a dating show before this and asked them if he should sign up for it. His brother told him if he was going to do a dating show he should go big and do love island. They’re obviously a very savvy tactical family.

There were a couple of boys on love island Australia who were very suspect too. Maybe they should do a gay love island spin off - I’d definitely watch that!

I thought George and Marvin were very entertaining on Aftersun - wish they'd got longer with the Flack. Lucie, Danny, Jourdan on owner other hand were just YAWN. Agree with comments about Belle she was OTT but we dont know what she and Anton have been doing together and his two actions coming close together made her feel insecure. Anton has always come across to me as insincere and untrustworthy.

First Look is up. Looks a bit meh. I think the islanders will kick Joanna out and Michael will follow. Hopefully giving Amber the head space to crack on with someone new or stick with the Amber & Ovie dream team.

I'm glad Maura is going to make Curtis make a decision!

I'd personally prefer to see them both leave. I find Joanna boring and a bit intense with the whole marriage and kids chat after 2 weeks.

And it's past the point for Amber and Michael getting back together, feelings still there or not, gone on too long

I posted yesterday I thought it was a bit risky for the producers to leave it to Michael and Joanna to decide.

This way I think it's fairly certain Joanna goes.

And Maura is doing right in asking Curtis to decide. He's playing it now and he's had long enough.

When I watched it, Anton came across as a total player. He was shocked he wasn’t successful with the ladies in the villa. I read earlier on these threads from a poster who said her friends knew Anton in Glasgow and he didn’t treat women very well. It didn’t surprise me one bit.

I simply can’t understand how they got people with so little personality this year. Last year Wes seemed nice. Meghan was a big character. Laura was lovely albeit intense and the production team were not enthusiastic about her but she was very likeable on screen. Dani was nice. I can’t renember the others but the thing is a lot of them were nice enough people on camera at least.

This year Anna is an incredibly unpleasant person. Yewande was not nice. Amy wasn’t nice. Lucie seemed nice but was so quiet. Tom was pretty awful. How did they get it so wrong????

I do like the 2 new people, Chris & Francesca booth seem lovely but think it's too late for them to do well

I honestly think Anton didn't think he was doing anything wrong and was all psyched up to do a big marriage speech - hence reacting the way he did.

I actually don't mind Tommy and MM. I love Chris - I could be mates with him. Maura is making herself look desperate. Amber needs to move on. Ovie is lovely. Anna is vile. Jordan is meh. Joanna is boring and miserable. Michael is unsure. Curtis is clearly homosexual.

I expect Joanna will leave alone tonight. Somehow.

I thought it was closer to Joanna's blonde colour than Belle's but so tough to say for sure!

I'd quite enjoy Joanna staying just to see the back of Michael, but rather she goes too as she doesn't really bring anything and I'd feel gutted if she got with Ovie as I enjoy Amber and Ovie's friendship

Michael will be saved, and he should just leave with Joanna, but he won't because he's selfish and has no loyalty.

Chipstick - yes the dance world is definitely as gay friendly as you can get but love island takes people from unknown/relatively unknown to instant fame!
