Anna got what she wanted last night. She should not have told Belle what Anton said. Anton is her close friend apparently. He was just venting with a mate. Or so he thought. But of course she tells Belle so it all kicks off. She was finding it all very amusing. Shes a very unpleasant person.

Anton and Belle will sort this out because they were top 3. Trouble is I don't think anyone particularly likes Belle after her outburst last night so it won't do Anton any favors.

Yes wrongdissection , was it Lauren and Josh in the first series who were the friendship couple? I loved Lauren and I really wanted her to win. I don't think she had a single romantic encounter whole she was in there.

Yep, Lauren and Josh, they were really sweet together, genuinely just good mates larking about in the villa.

I feel like Amber is in one of the dodgy rom-coms where the girl is obsessed with the no-good-for-her guy (Michael) when Mr Right (Ovie) is right there under her nose. I have no idea if Joanna or Michael or both will walk but I am getting fed up with the producers seemingly pushing him and Amber back together.
Anna is bloody awful wish she would go.
Belle's outburst last night was cringeworthy. I'm in the 'think Anton's a bit clueless but didn't mean any harm' camp and she went totally OTT. They've been a 'couple' for 10 days, they're contestants in a game show, they're not even officially dating. It was ridiculous for her to get in such a sulk and then fly off the deep end like that. Anton was just confused and embarrassed.

I'm still a Maura fan. Waiting for her to get bored with chasing Curtis and turn her attentions to Ovie. Now that would be a brilliant coupling!

I don't understand why people are pushing this Amber and Ovie narrative when Amber has said she doesn't like black men! I voted for them btw.

I like Amber despite my thoughts on her bullying nature. I like parts of her character. I like Ovie. I don't buy MM and Tommy. Nobody else deserves to win.

I actually think if Maura gave him a chance she and Chris would be good together. They're both funny and would bounce off one another. Curtis is too cringe, trying to act the perfect gentleman all the time, it just feels a bit grubby.

Belle was being absolutely ridiculous - he pecked Anna as a mate, surely you would rather your boyfriend want to marry you than snog you?

The way she went off at him was proper unhinged banshee, yelling the same thing over and over again not letting him speak, then we he refused to react and walked out yelling "WALK AWAY DEN YEAH WALK AWAY", it's so trashy and TOWIE-like. I don't blame him for thinking "yep, not for me" and ending it! Would be total red flag for me, although I can't imagine my chilled-out husband doing that haha.

Can’t stand Anna. She is a deploy unpleasant person. Josh is too good for her imho. Dickybow I remember Amber saying at the very beginning she’s not into black men. She clearly likes him but doesn’t fancy him.
Two minutes, literally two minutes before the outburst by belle (taking lessons off her dad with the over the top acting) I said to my fam that I actually really like Belle. The way she was chilled about Anton giving the (shopkeeper ) his number. Then she turned on the tower rant . Cringe

Yeah Chris should have been in from the start, he has something about him at least! Shame he won't find anyone in there now as there's not enough time left.

Watching Aftersun I don't agree with the PP who called Marvin bitter. He didn't fancy Maura or Francesca, so what? It was obvious. Nobody fancies Maura. It's like you can't criticise the original islanders (Maura is not original but had been accepted as such now). Just because he was a newbie doesn't mean he has to be grateful for scraps of attention from originals 🙄

I agree, none of them fancy Maura. She's too much for any of them to handle and gets too cringe sometimes. I think underneath all the sex talk she is genuinely funny and if she just eased up a little, then she could do well. I wonder if she's been badly hurt and is almost self-sabotaging as a form of self-preservation.

All caught up my thoughts are

Belle over reacted it was a challenge he wasn't out of order! If she was annoyed over the number she should of said that! However the whole situation felt the most manipulated scenes yet!

Joanna is running away with herself with talk about marriage and children after 2 weeks.

I think Micheal will go! He is super aware of how he looks and he has dug his heels right in over not going back to Amber not sure what Joanna will do she might walk with him

@Dickybow321 Marvin did fancy Maura in the beginning I think. Why else would he have been annoyed when she told him she wasn't feeling it?

@MoominMantra he said on Aftersun that he never did. I guess he needed someone to survive. As for why he was annoyed... pride? 🤷🏼‍♀️

I think Michael and Joanna will both leave as there’s no way Michael will get back with Amber now and they will want to prove to everyone that they’re a strong couple.

Or he fancied Maura initially, based purely on looks then rapidly went off her, as it would seem happens quite a lot to her. She needs a certain type of man to handle her personality and how full-on she can be.

Going to generalise massively here, but as much as they claim it's what they want a lot of men can't handle an overtly sexual woman. They want confidence in the bedroom but feel intimidated by a woman who openly enjoys sex. Maybe it puts them under pressure? They know she won't fake it and their performance has to be up to scratch. They also know a woman like that won't settle for shit sex and will make her wants and needs known.

@ILoveYou3000 Maura was in a 9 year relationship. At 28 that’s most of your adult life. I imagine she didn’t come out of it unscathed. Maybe she doesn’t actually want to find anyone, maybe she just wants the fame from being in the villa.

I’m so utterly convinced Curtis is gay. He was so 100% on board with Amy until Casa amor and then he threw himself at Jourdan at the last minute despite having had only 2 conversations with her. Probably so things didn’t get any more serious with amy and he didn’t have to take things further.

Now he’s in a love triangle with Maura and Francesca and it’s worked out perfectly for him because he’s using Maura as an excuse not to get too close with fran and fran as an excuse not to get too close with Maura. He was so so quick to say he was going to sleep on the day bed when Maura hadn’t even suggested he did - even she thought it was over the top. Then he went to Francesca and said oh Maura feels uncomfortable with us sharing a bed making it sound as if it was her idea not his.

I will be shocked if he doesn’t come out in a few years time.

Unless he just wants the fame I can’t see Curtis being gay and hiding it. His brother is openly bi-sexual and he works in an industry where his sexual preference is unlikely to affect his career. I just can’t see why he would hide it if he was gay.
