Foggy seemed to be injured at the beginning of the first set but then seemed to race through it so not really sure what was going off.

It is horrible here. Just took the dog out in the rain, as even he couldn't wait any longer.

We met a westie in a yellow raincoat and hat. My dog would eat me alive if I tried to dress him up. .

I bet Murray and Richard would enjoy the cinema. Maybe get some pop corn, for their match. Although messing around at theme parks with his mate Kyrgios didn't help Andy much prior to Cincinnati last year!

Just watched a bit of the replay of the Rafa and Foggy match - they had a right old chinwag at the net at the end of the match

When I see Player at Large I picture someone going around with a loudspeaker saying "beware, player at large, please do not approach him" such a weird title.

I had to go out and thought I would put the tennis on. Despite being behind, it isn't stating early today for some reason ( match usually starts at 5). I would have thought the earlier the better, really given one of the players will have to play twice - and it's not like they played yesterday, though I guess they had to hang around to find out if they were playing last night.

The timing is bizarre. It is raining again so they are showing Rafa and Foggy replay. Busta Gut and Monfils match will be what time -who knows? Doubles to finish first! It won't be long before one of them has to play Rafa then. Not nice...

They will end up playing the semi finals tomorrow before the final at this rate.
I've not even looked at the weather forecast for that.

I've just tuned in and Medvedev v Khachanov is only just starting! I saw the score from the Monfils match, it must have gone on a while.

I saw the scores in the early hours and panicked. I misread it and though Rafa had retired from the match.

Private I just checked the scores and saw that Serena retired - not sure what happened. Montreal not having much luck with retirements but they’ve got insurance so that’s ok .

I’m sure that I read that medvedev is only 23 - that can’t be right can it? He does look like a grumpy old man - the receding hairline doesn’t help although I’m sure he’s a very nice person.
