This solo tour must have taken a while to plan and book, so I’d say him & Katya have been living separate lives for a good long while & only stayed together ‘publicly’ for the pretence at their own show.

Thanks for that link coveting (good pic. ) Though IMO they seem to be doing too many too frequently. I mean dancing is extremely hard on the body without the travel, setting up etc, etc.

Has anyone ever been to one of the recordings?

We've just applied through the ballot for tickets to Blackpool. Not holding out much hope though. I have been to BBC recordings of shows before and know they allocate more tickets than there are seats so there's a bot of queuing involved. Will reconsider if it's going to mean standing on the pier in blackpool from 2am in November.

Also from the website there are more details about the schedule. First live show is Saturday 21st September.

5th October is "movie week".
26th October is Halloween.
9th Nov is a "Remembrance Show".
16th Nov is Blackpool.
30th Nov is musicals week
14th Dec is the final.

Well I;m not holding out much hope. I read somewhere that they had something like 800 applications for every ticket last year, and every fan north of about Leamington Spa will be applying for Blackpool tickets.

I don't know @TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross, but if that's the reason they've given, then we can't blame Neil. Having said that, I'd much rather watch Gorka with a partner than either AJ or Kevin. I find AJ smug and shiny and Kevin is just too... Kevin.

It is sad about Gorka but it's not as if we won't see him at all, especially if he's going to be in the group dances.

Having looked at his contestant record, two of them were out by week 4, but I still enjoyed seeing him in the group dances. My favourite is the Romeo and Juliet one he did with Oksana.

Many posters here were rooting for him and Alexandra to be voted out a couple of years ago but I personally wanted them to win, not popular I know, but hey.

I just don't see the fuss about him not getting a partner and am pleased for Neil.

Alexandra took a swipe at him on social media when he announced he was benched this year. Rumour had it that she was NOT happy with his getting closer to Gemma when he was meant to be partnered with her.

I don't know about AB's message on social media. It may have something you do with the Gorka it it may not. The tabloids were baying for her blood and it seems as if they're at it again.

Her reactions got more OTT every week but I still enjoyed her dances more than Gemma' or the LDM's.

Wtf are those long tassel-y bits interfering with Katya's lines and getting caught up in Neil's hands during lifts? None of their moves look very graceful. I understand the white t-shirts are to prevent the whole outfits being revealed.

Sorry that was all a bit negative! Diane looks a bit serious and distant from the rest in all the photos. I love her dancing - I hope she gets a decent partner.

Why isn't Michelle Visage there? Is she filming Drag Race? I think she'll be the first boot unless there is significant Strictly/RPDR audience crossover. I can't imagine many of the Strictly viewers knowing who she is. And if she's scored midtable...

BBC (Three?) are showing a British version of Drag Race this year, unfortunately it starts after Strictly so although it may be good publicity, I don't hold out much hope for Michelle as she is virtually unknown by me, anyway, like that counts for much I only know about the show because one of the guest judges is a member of Little Mix (mad Mixer in the house here so I get to hear about everything they do)

The trailer costumes were bright. The launch ones were not Black and white. Male pros in canvas shoes. Contestants had more colourful stuff, perhaps it was to put the emphasis on them?

Seemed to be a floral theme.
