I think Martine McCutcheon has had too many health problems to take on something like strictly, plus has done lots of stage so would be classed as a total ringer.

I wonder if Mick Hucknall has paid the beeb not to let her do it, lest she talks about throwing up in his hair again 🤔

Hands down the worst Strictly line up ever. The box ticking and cliche checking is more obvious than ever this year, really appalling barrel scraping going on.
I thought 'reality show' participants were not on the Strictly radar. If they had to book someone from MIC, surely Spencer Matthews would have been a better choice than Jamie Laing? He is so short presumably he can only be partnered by Janette?

Spencer Matthews is practically royalty these days - brother-in-law to sister-in-law of heir to the throne Plus, he's married with a new baby and has sobered up - I reckon he'd steer well clear of Strictly and the associated curse.The tabloids would be desperate for a scandal associated with him.

I used to watch Rupaul [sp] ? I quite liked it (I think he's great) but the other blokes were sometimes sooooooo bitchy, it was difficult viewing. Also very samey.

Love Chris but cannot see that being a fit - I assume you saw his documentary Aspergers and me (if not, thoroughly recommend it), he says he likes his space (it's why him and his partner live separately) - being cooped up in a training room 24/7 wouldn't be great. His menieres might also affect him (my late MIL had it and it could take its toll health-wise).

The TV 'legend' was leaked a while ago and is presumably for Anton.
The DJ I agree is going to be serenaded by Roger Daltrey (who are you? who? who? who? who?)
The final two are only big in the world of Sport although I agree with you that many will at least know them (if one indeed does have a short temper now, I hope they get someone like Oti to keep them in check not Amy).

Rage - I was thinking exactly that about the partner for the short-tempered one. Remembering Amy with DJJ last year, I think they need to be careful this year to make sure that they don't have a repeat. Oti would be perfect for him as she will take no shit and give as good as she gets. I think she also works really, really hard (I remember she and Danny Mac talking about how much they trained), and he's certainly not afraid of putting the hours in.
