Ovie knows that Anna is likely to go back to Jordan. He thinks that Amber and Michael will recouple( bad idea) That leaves Joanna.

Yes! Some opinions seem to get more and more extreme! Some of the islanders I've found a bit irritating at worst, but none of them are really problematic - they're just young people under a lot of pressure, and more scrutiny than the rest of us! There's some really bitchy reactions to them.

I do love Amber, I think she's handled herself really well!
I can't believe Maura and Curtis - I just can't picture it at all?!? Poor Amy with the 'let's swap' comment. I wish they would find someone really sweet for her. But Maura & Curtis - surely not? It would either be strangely perfect or a complete car crash...

The producers need this to happen or else for some of the original islanders to hook up together.

I have already explained why I used the word and said it was the wrong word to use.

If people are going to read and grab hold of a postthey probably should grab hold of the following post saying it was a mistake.

Or do they feel more self important giving their opinion on the first part than the following explanation?

@ThomasFurious there is a clip of them on YouTube.
They're quite wealthy- the dad looks very fame hungry.
The mum is very pretty and well-groomed and young-looking and was gushing when told she looked more like Amy's sister than her mother.
I get the impression Amy would have grown up in the shadow of a beautiful mum and a pushy dad.
Anyone else saw it and thought the same?

I was just agreeing! And I do skip through these threads so didn't see an explanation, sorry - but that jumped out at me, as some reactions are extreme (not just that particular one) and it makes me wonder why.

Although today I'm mostly wondering about Maura and Curtis - I just can't see it!!

I remember reading what someone who worked on LI said last year about Dr Alex. He said that they sent loads of women who fitted his ‘type’ but he never liked any of them and they found it really frustrating. He/she actually used the words ‘we gave him everything’. He just wasn’t interested. The same person said Laura was a complete nightmare and she was very hard word. I got the impression they didn’t like her at all. I think it’s still on Reddit for anyone interested. The poster was verified by the website as gave additional info privately to prove they had actually worked on it. It’s interesting reading.

I think Michael actually looks 10X happier when talking to Amber, he only talks to Joanna when it’s about Amber. He had a grin like a Cheshire Cat talking to Amber again on first look.
He clearly worried she would re couple in Casa Amor and saved his own back and now she’s back he regrets it. Much like Anna.

Michael had a mean little smile on his face when he was talking to Amber that I have seen on the face of my ex H many times. That and the insistence she was raising her voice when she wasn't at all is gaslighting 101. He wanted her to kick off so he could say "see!see! This is what I have to put up with" but she didn't. I also think he probably had some regrets when he saw she was alone and that made him even angrier and determined to justify his choice, even to himself. I think Amber handled the situation amazingly well and I like her a lot more for it.

I can see Maura and Curtis. I think she’s have gone for him if he hadn’t been exclusive with Amy when she arrived so she thought there was no point. She picked him to marry in Snog, Marry, Avoid and she really wants to be in a proper relationship. Curtis gives out a ‘boyfriend material’ vibe even though he has just demonstrated that he isn’t particularly! We know he was attracted to her on Instagram at least. I’d like to see them on a date at least but would hate what it will do to Amy. He has to couple up with someone though if he’s staying in. And I think Curtis has his eyes on the prize - Maura is so popular, not that he can know that for sure - she wasn’t in the top three couples either but he might guess that it was Amy and Tom who held them back in that vote. Together, I can see Maura and Curtis being a bit of a power couple. Getting together now would be exciting whilst Tommy and Mollie Mae can’t have much more drama to give and could fade into the background. I think it’s a much better game plan for him than he’s had so far. And Maura won’t take any prevaricating or ambiguity from him so he will have to be a lot more engaged and active in a relationship with her than he was with Amy.

I can’t see Amy giving it a go with another guy and I think it will be so painful for her to watch Curtis with anyone else. If she stays, she’s just prolonging the agony. I feel so sorry for her.

The Michael and Amber situation is reminding me of the Kem and Amber Cas Amor situation, where the boys were paranoid about what was going on in the other villa, so recouple with someone else more out of principle than genuine preference.
I mean we don't know how it's going to play out in terms of them getting back together as Michael was a lot worse to Amber than Kem ever was but there are definite similarities.
