Curtis is free to crack on as is Maura IT IS WHAT IT IS. It’s love island, people are constantly going on dates, being pulled for chats, sharing beds etc. If Amy can’t handle that (which she probably can’t) she should leave. That said the idea gives me the absolute ick.

Marvin is not attractive and has no discernible personality so he can get in the bin.

I'm warming to Amber and I'm surprised to hear myself say that. Absolutely no doubt her behaviour has been poor at times in the house - hopefully that's something she'll work on with a bit of perspective when she gets out of the house but she's handled herself really well with the Michael thing.

If it was any other islander cracking on everyone would be having a fit but because it's Maura and she's "good craic" it's fine I'm not an Amy fan but it's savage and unpleasant

Sagradafamiliar isn't she an air steward? I live in West London near Heathrow and when I was younger I worked with lots of ex air-crew and plenty of them had had long term relationships. My ex-SIL is 55 and is still an air steward & she's been married twice and has had more long term boyfriends than I've done and I've never travelled in any significant way for my job!

First season I've watched but I've just heard that sometime they throw a lie detector in for a laugh?

My predictions:

I read they have cancelled the lie detector task this year as it causes too much upset in the house

The lie detector stuff is BS. Look at Alex and Olivia from a few years back and the results he got which didn't look good for their relationship. They are married now.

Hands up. Dangerous is the wrong word.! She is manipulative. I have worked with manipulators and I projected my general thoughts of manipulators in to her. Hands up. She was my favourite girl in there until Maura went in and I turned completely away from both her and Anna when they were awful to Danny. I also think she should not have nane called Joanna. Amber has fantastic hair but she is not more amazing looking than Joanna.

From the game show point of view, now that Amy and Curtis are gone, the producers have to have more couples. It can’t be a one horse Tommy and MM race (apart from their relationship being complete BS). Who is left in a strong couple? It has to be Amber and Michael? There isn’t any other couple????

Yeah it depends on what flight routes you work I suppose Margo, if you're here, there and everywhere and young and uninterested in starting a family as it would compromise your career, then it would significantly narrow down your partner choices as most would want to have a predictable, stable home life. I doubt Amy has been ready to settle down with a long-term boyfriend until now, it doesn't mean she is mentally unfit to look for love.

This is an ace season of Love Island, so much swapping and drama. I think Amy is in the wrong place as she just can’t handle the lows.

Do you know what I hate. How Friday night is our ducking date night and my DH hates love island! So gets a monk on if I try rush things or if we're at home and I put it on.

Change date night to Saturday! But no.

How funny if Ovie swooned Joanna, and left Michael and Amber to couple up again. I would be suprised if Ambers pride would let her do it, but i do think she really likes Michael so you never know.

So Craig David, a DJ, is going in for a party. Is he a good dancer? It’s a long shot but I hope Maura isn’t really referring to Curtis. Mind you, they’d make a pretty pair.

Just watched first look. Maura, who I've never liked, is a conniving nasty bit of work. No wonder she was so keen to get Amy to dump Curtis. Having said that, this series has been really good.
