The Cilic match is only just going into it's 3rd set. Cilic is winning, but it's very close- tie breaks, and really Adrian has been a bit unlucky at times.

It's a shame that, because he's a Brit, he won't get an automatic spot at the US open, after winning a tournament in the US that, apparently would give an American born winner a wild card to the main draw.

That's such an odd rule about the USO wildcard isn't it? They should just give him a wildcard anyway!

Marin is running off with the 3rd set, so he should be ok now.

The US College system for sport has a lot to recommend it - the players get an education, and tend not to turn pro when they aren't really mature enough for it.

But it penalises outsiders.

Jane it was always on around 9.30 when Des Lyman did it. Made sense that, the day's play had ended. Having it on early makes no sense at all- as it means the Beeb take off a live match to show repeats of the day. And always the same ones- Serena/Roger. Never the good ones. TAW is a very biased show.

I can't watch at the moment. My dc have rebelled and are watching 'Ackley Bridge'.

Ackley Bridge is a 'drama' set in a multi cultural school in Yorkshire (!) it's like Waterloo Road (or Grange Hill for teenagers).
