Changed the name of this thread as we were very upset with the ending of series 3 out in Bangladesh! Waiting out for news of series 4. In the meantime, we are reviewing the seven series of Soldier Soldier.

Hope you've had a good week. Weather seems nice and hopefully good for weekend. I waved eldest DD off to uni last week. It's all change here. I twisted the arm of my younger DD to see the Downton film with me. It was typical Downton - lots of style, lovely costumes, as familiar as a nice warm comfy cardigan - I enjoyed it (DD, bless her, was a bit bored) she has no idea how many other similar duties she will have to fulfil, now that eldest has escaped the nest

I'm just catching up on last week's episode and will be on parade - internet willing - at 2100 hours.

It had been a dreadful afternoon on Sunday so I "swotted up" on our next episode. Actually, I did more than just the next episode!

Was north of the border up in Edinburgh on Monday, just on a flying visit (well a train, not a flight).

So now we know that Andreas the Cypriot has some dodgy dealings he wants Marsha for.

Tony's going back to Germany. Dave is quiet. The ladies are on the beach.

Got her - I knew I recognised her face - she was in that series 'The Last Post' a year or two ago as the wife of the Colonel played by Ben Miles
