Best few weeks of the year starts here!

I was thinking that about the age profile these youngsters must be wondering what they have to do to break through at times!

Private Lopez is also the same age as Mahut.

Yet they kept talking about Nicolas ,as though he had one foot in the grave. It was quite odd.

Especially as both are the same age as Roger. And you're not allowed to mention his age (until he loses, then obviously, it's a factor).

But well done Feli. Felix will definitely have his day- and he has shown a great maturity. Which certain players could learn from.

I'm not sure he will have the energy for the next matches.

Deliciano is rather lovely.

And he's coming back in 10 minutes. Love him.

Just been reading that Delpo has had his surgery which was "a success" - presume that means they fixed it. So that's good, at least.

Exactly Raahh - why don't they do their research?!

When the players came onto court, the commentators were saying that just because Andy and Feli are great singles players doesn't mean they can beat this established doubles pair. So it must have been after that they realised (or someone said to them) oh actually Lopez has won a major doubles title, and to be fair, Andy isn't exactly a novice at doubles either!! Argh!

That's why they have to talk about dogs!

I'm sorry. I love Feli, but I've never been a Murray fan. And all the hype and constant waffle about him puts me off his matches even more.

Not his fault, we keep saying it. But it is really irritating as a fan of tennis and not just one player ( who I am expected to like due to where I was born). I'm also female. I'm not a great watched of the women's game either.

Yep, BBC/Wimbledon has always been like this as far as I can remember - ooh a Brit is playing! No matter how crap they may be. There are soooo many great players, great stories etc, and most of them get overlooked.

It is looking dark though. If the match draws, it will be a headache , what with Feli being in the singles final...
