Simon is one of the old school players- like a lot of the Spaniards and French, who just seem to have stamina in spades.

Some of the younger players are great- in short bursts -but struggle after lengthy matches and a lot of play. They appear to lose focus quickly.

So pleased Simon won, but wasn't athrilling match to watch. Kept popping in & out to watch & managed to get a great deal of weeding done.

But am about to get arse glued to chair for the next one.

Had a fairly busy day, so now settling down to watch F&F. Why is this the second semi when Feliciano has potentially two doubles matches after this. He'd have had more recovery time if he'd been first up, obviously!

The schedule makes no sense, at all. But it will be about getting the top names, on , presumably, the only televised court. I don't even think they have cameras set up to show Court 1 at Queen's. Even if it means they play 3 games in a row.

Is that really Feli's doubles partner, Sue, are you sure.

I went to get some shopping and when I got back Toy Story was on. What the hell are they playing at?

I have no idea. Jane . It makes no sense. Even the draw of Murray later doesn't seem to factor in the schedule.

Although the football finishes at 6.30. As does Toy story, maybe they will put it back on tv then?

If people were complaining about Thiem having less time to prepare at RG than Rafa- then this situation is far worse. He risks losing both finals, should he get to them, purely due to fatigue.

And having started the week with a bunch of 'young' hopefuls in the draw, it will be a final , possibly contested by a 34 and 37 year old .
