Delpo's posted a video on his IG. Much less cheery than his laundry video

He is having surgery tomorrow and doesn't know if the match against Shaggy was his last. He looks devastated and like he's aged about 10 years.

I'm desperate for him to come back but I know it might not happen, and I just can't bear to think of it

it's really unfair how some players have had their careers plagued by injury, and others have been quite lucky. (Not that I'm wishing injuries on people).

I dare you to Jane - I thought mock the week was on later as well.

No, wouldn't go that far Raahh but it would be good if they could be spread around a bit more evenly, at least. Or there are no injuries at all, that would be better.

I’ve just watched the Delpo video - so sad. I don’t want to be the voice of doom but you have to wonder how much more his body can cope with. Fingers crossed that his surgery is a success.

I know, that's what I thought as well. I suppose he just isn't going to know until after the surgery, maybe not for a while after, whether it's do-able or even worth trying to rehab again, and come back again.

That was the best match I've watched for years. And there won't be a repeat of it now.

Happy to report I've had not only a G&T but probably half a bottle of rosé (with dinner) and now catching up.

Just caught a glimpse of bbc1 showing Inside the Factory - about toilet roll. I'm sure it's, erm, fascinating. .. but if they have live sport why don't they show it on the main channel?! (Or would there be an angry of Gregg Wallace fans??!)
