The boobs. The eye patch.

But she looks so nervous - she’s almost panting. Why?

Looked like a unfunny Kenny Everett/ Cupid Stunt tribute act and was rude to Sir Ian. Made herself look the ultimate twat.
Where can I buy myself a baggy, ill-fitting eye-patch?

DameDoom · 14/06/2019 23:47

an - sorry

Lamentations · 14/06/2019 23:48

How was she rude??

flissfloss65 · 14/06/2019 23:52

I think she was talking but really thinking shit my breasts are up by my chin so seemed distracted. Also the corset seems so tight it’s making breathing harder.

I know the costume is the look for the new album but she should have tested it out for sitting in it.

Littleoldmetime · 14/06/2019 23:53

Weirdo.

tenlittlecygnets · 14/06/2019 23:56

Yeah. She’s a pro, ffs. Surely she’d have tested her costume out? She’s been sitting in the green room beforehand anyway, hasn’t she?

I thought she seemed diminished, sad, lacking in knowledge. Especially when talking to Sir Ian!

Sir Ian came to our school for a workshop with disaffected kids. He was amazing and did a full day of drama and talked to everyone. Used the staff loo and sat with the pupils chatting with those who had seemed least keen doing the workshoppy bit. He ate all of the school dinner and pronounced it delicious - to be fair, the dinners are quite nice.
He is pure class - Madonna, shocking embarrassment.

tenlittlecygnets · 15/06/2019 00:21

Yes, Sir Ian came across like a real pro. He is a pro...

Defenbaker · 15/06/2019 00:27

Yes, Sir Ian carries himself well and looks good for his age. Perhaps he could give M a few tips. Someone needs to.

tenlittlecygnets · 15/06/2019 00:35

Sir Ian has been trained all his life. He has amazing stage presence.

Madonna... well.

There's another thread where die hards who refuse to admit she's a mess will exclaim she's their idol and we're body shaming. She was the very definition of rude, making others uncomfortable and has zero class. That's before I mention her lack of singing voice. Maybe she was fab in the old days. I think the only record I bought was 'You'll see' after a break up. Not my cup of tea.

justbeniceplease · 15/06/2019 01:10

I only saw a couple of minutes of this so I don't know if this was the same throughout but she was facing the wrong way. It really bothered me that she could be so rude and to face away from the host.

HouseOfMouse · 15/06/2019 02:20

I think that the posture and breathing were down to that corset thing - it looked incredibly uncomfortable and she was a gnat’s do-dah away from a major wardrobe malfunction. She was odd though - sucked all the atmosphere out of the show.

Laurajjj · 15/06/2019 02:56

I don't think she is well, one way or another.

Sarcelle · 15/06/2019 06:48

That exchange with Graham when she accused him of not being more enthusiastic and he said what do you want me to do, get an erection! Not sure he liked her, she then muttered you're useless!

Rude, dated and overrated woman.

chunn65 · 15/06/2019 06:59

She came across as uncomfortable (boobs on show) but distant, sideways sitting and vague and not engaging. I have seen her perform live, but wouldn't again.

JustDanceAddict · 15/06/2019 07:00

I didn’t see it last night but watched in Eurovision and i was wtf enough at that. Some of my friends think she should ‘never retire’ even though she obviously has some issues but I say why keep going if you really can’t do it anymore - perform, act, talk on a show etc. I think that’s more embarrassing than just calling it a day at 60.

Sarcelle · 15/06/2019 07:34

She is veering into that Bette Davies character in Whatever Happened to Baby Jane. That sneery contempt, the strange costumes...

Deathraystare · 15/06/2019 08:34

Sir Ian was pure class - effortlessly so. She was trash. Hate her voice anyway but the Eurovision thing was particularly dreadful.

Mrsjayy · 15/06/2019 08:41

I couldn't work out if she was struggiling to breath because or having an anxiety attack her boobs though Shock Madonna has had decades of being Madonna her music spoke for its self she didn't need to do talk shows to promote her music she was having to entertain and came across awkward I love how bonkers she is !

Mrsjayy · 15/06/2019 08:42

Struggiling to breath because of the corset/boobs* is what I meant to say.

bordellosboheme · 15/06/2019 08:47

It looked like an anxiety attack to me. Probably not helped by that corset!

Mrscaindingle · 15/06/2019 08:47

I just thought she seemed really nervous, but she would probably have been able to relax more without the ridiculous outfit and eye patch, I can't imagine that helped.

Mrsjayy · 15/06/2019 08:50

Thats obviously her new image (or she had conjuctivitis Grin ) but she wasn't performing so maybe she should dress so she can breath and talk. Did she have a brace her speech was lispy

Towelsareblue · 15/06/2019 08:50

She was just unbelievably hard work, Sheryl Crow was completely relaxed and lovely oth.
