The boobs. The eye patch.

But she looks so nervous - she’s almost panting. Why?

Poor old thing Grin

CoolCarrie · 15/06/2019 23:06

She comes across as vain, humourless , self centred and unpleasant.
She has never been classy, but at least she was interesting in the past, but as pp said she is turning into Mae West without the laughs and wit.
She is copying Kate Bush in doing a residency in one theatre, but she hasn’t Kate’s talent, class , manners or imagination.

Sir Ian came to our school for a workshop with disaffected kids.
He came to dcs school and gave a talk on bullying. Part of his speech has been painted on the wall in the main hall.
He is very inspirational

CantspellWontspell · 15/06/2019 23:20

Sir Ian was very gracious towards her, frankly, bizarre behaviour towards him.

MysweetAudrina · 15/06/2019 23:23

I thought GN was a.fan if hers. I didn't find her too bad. I think people expect her to be like that.

Towelsareblue · 15/06/2019 23:48

Sir Ian was very gracious towards her, frankly, bizarre behaviour towards him. Agree, she was unbelievably rude to him and he just took it all in his stride, silly moo.

OccidentalPurist · 16/06/2019 00:26

I was so uncomfortable throughout her whole interview. It was like she brought a big cloud with her. When she said "Sorry, my medication hasn't kicked in yet" I thought she was being ironic, now I'm not so sure!

Mrsjayy · 16/06/2019 09:55

I took Dd to see sir ian and Sir patrick in No Mans land they did a Q&A afterwards they were hilarious I was properly starstruck

EleanorReally · 16/06/2019 09:57

she was not as bad as the hype, bit sad about her kids not liking having her as a mum
Graham tries to keep the show light hearted.

Mrsjayy · 16/06/2019 09:59

Yeah she was waiting for her actual medication to kick in ! Her concerts the other year were a disaster she walked off stages ranted about her custody battle with Guy over Rocco maybe she never recovered.

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 16/06/2019 10:39

I just came to see if there was a thread about this. She seemed out of breath (although it could have been the corset she was wearing) and quite awkward?

longwayoff · 17/06/2019 07:43

Oh dear, up past bedtime, never good when you're getting on a bit. We need our eight hours.

itsallgoingsouth · 17/06/2019 09:00

Sheryl Crow is 57 so no spring chick but just seems comfortable in her skin and looks lovely. Madonna needs to sack her style adviser. She's trying too hard to look edgy and younger and it isn't working. Heaving bosom and tight shorts combo was awful.

Madonna was strangely ill at ease and rude on Graham Norton Show.

CoolCarrie · 18/06/2019 23:38

Did anyone see Madonna on the one show yesterday? She was much more relaxed, no eye patch, but the most telling thing was it was a one on one interview, with brown nose Rylan so no one to share the attention with!

Loveislandaddict · 19/06/2019 02:56

I thought she looked bored and disinterested throughout the show, and was surprised she wasn’t the main star. The outfit was awful - we presumed she would be performing also and it was a stage outfit. Maybe she did feel uncomfortable in it, but she’s old enough and wise enough (and rich enough) to have that sorted.

LikeDolphinsCanSwin · 19/06/2019 03:37

Yep, Sheryl won that by a country mile. Well, considerably more than that really Grin

MyOtherProfile · 19/06/2019 03:44

@CoolCarrie yes! Oh my word I came in after it had started and I really couldn't work out who he was talking to for a couple of minutes. Her eyes looked so odd. I wonder if she has been having something done to them, hence the eye patch. She wore one at Eurovision too.

Sounds like a great cast on GN though - must catch it on iPlayer. Will be cross if she messes with our Ian though.

Merril · 19/06/2019 18:14

I watched this expecting to see a total car crash but I thought she was great. Paraphrasing someone up thread, but it's fucking Madonna. She can be as arsey as she likes coz she's a legend!

I think she finds it difficult with interviews over here because the tabloids tend to rip her to shreds, so she's always cautious about what she says and how she acts and it comes across as rude but I don't even think she was as bad as some of you are making out.

She's a proper trailblazer and they'll never be another like her. I hope she's still going and still pissing people off when she's 97.

Loveislandaddict · 19/06/2019 18:42

Merrill - I agree that she’s a trailblazer and a legend.

However, being a legend doesn’t give you a free pass to be rude or indifferent.

Sarcelle · 19/06/2019 18:55

She was pissed off that she wasn't the only guest. She wasn't even the star turn (last guest) which was why she was rude to Sir I Mc. She is a superannuated brat.
