I want Rafa to win but if he does get beaten I can cope with it being Thiem.

Vondrousova seems lovely but I wish the match had been a bit more exciting!

My Aussie pals are so pleased about Barty as well Daisy! In fairness all the current Aussie women players seem great, and Ebden, Millman on the men's side. It's just the "bad boys" get more attention, always the way!

Looking forward to this afternoon's tennis. The French is the only slam where I don't feel depressed when it's over, because Queens, Wimbledon etc are just round the corner. Yippee!

I am getting excited and nervous about this afternoon.

I won't lie- it will be difficult to see Rafa lose at RG in the final. Even to someone as nice as Thiem. But it would have been far worse to Djok.

There will be a lot made in the commentary about how Rafa has had longer to recover from his match etc etc, and whether that is fair, though. It's not really either players fault. Thiem would probably happily finished his match on Friday!

Just been reading the readers comments in the tv section of the Sunday Times about coverage of the French Open - Jim Courier’s verbal diarrhoea was mentioned as was the the option of getting an off switch for the commentators. Someone also mentioned not looking forward to listening to the inanities of Andrew Castle at Wimbledon - but that’s why we like him (well maybe not Kazza!)

I've just switched on the tv- the women's doubles final started early.

Dom's girlfriend, Kristina Mladenovic is in it. I doubt he's watching! Well, he might be...

And a thought, there will be champion's dinner no doubt, and they must invite a guest.

If Kiki wins this, and Dom doesn't win, will he want to go with her?

They are having problems with the metal signs in front of the line judges. They are quite flimsy, and players keep clattering into them. It does seem like an injury waiting to happen.
