private he is my favourite but I like watching them all play tbh, in essence I love good tennis and I think we are incredibly lucky to live in this era of greats, Federer, Rafa and Novak are 3 best in history (by number of grand slams) with Roger having 20, Rafa 16 and Novak 15, but not sure whether Rafa or Novak will be able to catch up with pesky Roger! Of the young ones I do like Zverev and Kachanov 😁

Oh, I can Fizzy- I spent 2 weeks listening to them moaning about all the 'free points' he kept getting in Melbourne. Bloody hell- his serve is still one of the weakest points of his game, and he was hardly hitting 50 a match - but no, they made it sound like he was suddenly cheating, because he averaged about half a dozen !

Raahh they have sort of been implying that the wind is blowing more at Federer’s end even when they change ends - not giving Rafa credit for dealing better with it.

We have been really lucky spinning to have enjoyed this level of tennis for so long. I’m dreading the day Rafa and the like retire. I’m also impressed by Tsitsipas of the so called next gen.

I really like Tsitsipas. Since he came to my attention properly in Barcelona last year, he's really come a long way. He has an old fashioned, yet thoroughly modern way about him.

I've always liked Thiem. I don't think it's too late for him- he's still relatively young, and he can get a couple of RG's in when Rafa retires.
