They were very disappointing. The problem is- I want a very dull match for Rafa tomorrow .

I have seen that Jo's match is actually bumped to the new court.

Why are they not playing both matches on Lenglen - one after the other- like they are doing with the men's on Chatrier?

Or is it because they are hoping the women will be over, and all focus can then be on the men?

Yaaay, go Nole , can't wait for him to wipe court with Thiem tomorrow , and btw, he is in France, its only polite to speak the local language

I'm not sure they're hoping but I think they're expecting the women's to be quite quick. Although I don't think their theory that the younger players will be overawed is necessarily true given what happened today.
Irritatingly I'm out all day tomorrow so will be relying on you all to keep me updated!

He has, and they are both in excellent form so should be an interesting match, roll on tomorrow and may the best ones win

It looks as if the women are both on at 10am which is pretty early and then Rafa and Roger followed by Djok and Thiem (weather permitting).

Just looking for hopefully some good tennis. I can cope with a bit of excitement but only if Rafa comes out on top. I’d like to see Thiem beat Djokovic but Djok has definitely got that invincible look about him.

Only Euro2 is showing a live doubles match.

Wait until Andy Murray plays doubles Raahh. The schedules will be cleared for that!

Well, they don't seem too fussed about showing doubles today- Euro 2 has moved onto Athletics- even though the other semi final match features 2 French players .

This has been the oddest couple of days.

No play yesterday due to rain- and I seem to have spent more time today watching John Inverdale interviewing people on ITV4, than watching tennis!

Anisimova is the first person born in the 2000's to get to a Grand Slam semifinal is the new Alexander Zverev is 6' 6". If I have to hear it one more time...
