I must say I misunderstood what happened at first with Halfway and Ben - when he said 'I smell gay' I thought he meant he (Ben) smelled gay. Made no sense for a few minutes there!

It’s all very well saying Sharon and Ohil should have sat down with Denny and gently explained how disappointed they are. They did that back when he bullied William. It clearly did not work. This is a boy who punched his mother. This is a boy who was involved with a drug gang. He will grow up to be a criminal and thenpeople will say Sharon and Phil should have been tougher on him and shown there are consequences for one’s actions.

I felt so uncomfortable during that scene with halfway and Ben (not for homosexual reasons) but because of the cringey moaning noises Ben was making just before he said I smell gay .
