He should take heart though- Sascha Zverev is 2 years older. I think Stef is better than Sascha, personally, certainly mentally. Stef has done better in Slams at an earlier age than Sascha did too.

Stefanos just tweeted the quote that Stan has as his tattoo ("ever tried, ever failed..." etc) and says he's inspired by Stan. I think that's brilliant, and also made me a little bit emotional. I saw a clip of his press conference Raahh - he was devastated wasn't he? I am sure he will have many more opportunities, I really hope so, and that he can avoid injuries etc.

I do think he will have his day. But I did feel for him. Stan was in his late 20's before he won his first slam . I don't think- injuries permitting- it will be the same for Stef.

I managed to see the end of the match - the hug at the end was lovely. Haven’t seen the press conference but Stew must have been devastated . Definitely rooting for Stan against Roger.

Haha I hate it when people interrupt tennis viewing - even if they are lovely and well-meaning and then I feel guilty.

Today looks good, Zverev v Fognini should be good (in theory). I haven't seen Foggy play so far this tournament but on paper it should be a close one.

Delpo v Khachanov could also be a bit of a battle.
