Julian died in 91 didn't he? So 28 years ago so the last Lady Button will have been middle aged so about the right age to know disreputable MPs back then.

In the first episode where Fanny says she caught her husband in a 'Moroccan tea party', both Thomas and Kitty day that they already knew about it because they watched it. I don't think Kitty is in fancy dress, I think she died in the 1700's, maybe before Thomas.

I think I'm we're over thinking this now! If Kitty saw Lady Button's husband at it how come she doesn't know about sex? Or is it just heterosexual sex she's innocent of?

I think there's a HH sketch about going to dinner at WR widows house and being sat next to WR head.

I bet all those years of doing HH have them loads of ideas for good Ghosts! (Which my autocorrect is now capitalising thanks to this thread )

I've loved this series and i'm thoroughly enjoying this thread. Never watched HH but am very tempted now, will definitely look for the early series this weekend.

The bloopers are now on bbc1 facebook and lots of posts asking for another series!

Kitty is definitely 18th century, Thomas is regency so George the fourth, I thought he was Victorian, but then he was soo happy when the film being made was regency, he drop kicked poor Humpry’s head! There isn’t a Victorian ghost, which I think is because most ghost stories are set in that time, and they want to be different.

Probably taking the analysis far too far but...

I keep singing the HH songs to myself. Current rotation is Pachacuti, Four Georges, Literally and Luddites.
