I loved Lady Button and the neighbour Smile

Apparently there's a lady that throws herself from a window in the West Wing...(Lady Button)...East Wing!

Dressed in white...(Lady Button)...Grey!

Georgian...(Lady Button)...Edwardian!

Attractive, early twenties...The look that she gave at this part had me!

And also his description of Robin as half man, half ape and Robin just looked behind him to see who he was talking about.

This program is so well done, I love it.

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 15/05/2019 09:58

I love the sheer good-naturedness of it - it's refreshingly free of snark and cruelty

"good natured" is a very good description. I also love dark and rude and cruel stuff - loved Fleabag - but this is really enjoyable.
Suitable (mostly) for children but not childish.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 15/05/2019 10:04

I've just left positive feedback and a request for more series on the BBC contact us page.

7Days · 15/05/2019 10:06

Seconding appeal for tri corn hats.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 15/05/2019 10:07

Bill me too! I love her expressions. Also love her constant correcting of Alison's behaviour.

DobbyTheHouseElk · 15/05/2019 10:34

I’m going to email the BBC too. This show is something the BBC does so well.

AndwhenyougetthereFoffsomemore · 15/05/2019 10:52

We've just started watching this - such an utterly delightful programme! My kids (now early mid/teen) have grown up with HH and this is such a perfect next step for that audience too. I think someone else drew out the comparison with The Detectorists and I'd agree with that: gentle, kind, character driven spaces with just a hit of bonkers :-)

Parvuli · 15/05/2019 10:59

Love it. I was obsessed with Yonderland too as was my DS. We still quote lines at each other and sing the Parvuli song.

If you bump into Jim Howick again, along with the requests for more series could you please ask him if L Rickard really did mouth the word “cunt” in an episode of Yonderland? DH says I imagined it.

Pinkarsedfly · 15/05/2019 14:11

I bloody love this show. Funny, silly, good natured. A total tonic.

FoxSquadKitten · 15/05/2019 14:47

Just re-watched the first two episodes. How did I miss Julian's internet search for 'Vicky Pedia'? 😂

bellinisurge · 15/05/2019 14:49

Thanks to MN suggestions, I am watching this with DH - we caught up. It's so lovely and funny. The ensemble obviously work well together and the two house owners are wonderful too.

PJMasksAreOnTheirWay · 15/05/2019 15:02

I’ve emailed the BBC demanding at least 4 series.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 15/05/2019 16:20

Currently watching Bill and Laurence Rickard has just mentioned architraves!

cushioncovers · 15/05/2019 16:39

Loved this weeks episode, so funny. Fanny calling the caveman's comments asinine Grin. It made me chuckle all the way through.

Bravelurker · 15/05/2019 17:26

For someone who likes warnings of sex, violence, drug use and foul language at the beginning of any show and generally hate anything that can be enjoyed by young children and pensioners , I absolutely love this so much. I do the cute laughing/crying at the same thing in most of the episodes.

Slaymill · 15/05/2019 17:26

I think Ghosts should be the first Mumsnet rated TV show. I will email the BBC and also request a Christmas edition. I'm sure it would be perfect viewing.

iklboo · 15/05/2019 17:34

@Slaymill - brilliant idea!

Mrsjayy · 15/05/2019 17:37

AnneEyhtMeyer · 15/05/2019 17:40

Christmas episode is inspired!

FoxSquadKitten · 15/05/2019 17:56

cushioncovers · 15/05/2019 18:37
