Why can't we just finish up some of these awful storylines before starting another 'harrowing' one? Can't the writers feel the public's growing boredom with all of it now?

How ridiculous that Wendy just happens to work in the hospital - Emmerdakle is sypposedly a big enough place to have Hotten International Airport but so small that everyone knows everyone else or happens to bump into them.

Jessie the invisible headteacher who never seems to be at her school during normal working hours has to be at the place night and day 2 days after being released from hospital following being shot!!!

I couldn't care less if Victoria and Diane leave - 3 boring characters who contribute nothing to the show.

So Jacob hates David and Leyla and never wants to speak to them again, but one small angina attack from Eric and suddenly they're bezzies again? I mean, obviously the wheels will come off when he realises Eric is faking, but to have him laughing and joking with them like nothing's happened is ridiculous!

I read the spoilers and when I saw the news about the baby at the school it sounded really exciting but it hasn't gripped me at all. I think it's too soon after Lisa dying to have much of an impact.

The Victoria baby storyline is good but lee's mum is spoiling it by being so ridiculously over persistent. How may times do we have to hear 'I'm this baby's grandmother!'?

All together a bit 'meh' at the moment.

That's what I was thinking JaneJeffer, I mean it's that long since they had a bad news story we're well overdue one.

Ridiculous how Jacob is all of sudden over all the anger and hate.

Once again they are cramming to many stories into the episodes, and I really hope Victoria and Diane leave and wouldn't mind if they took Nate and Amy with them, they are bloody awful.

Agree. And also, it appears to be done and dusted already. CPS aren’t pursuing Lydia. So that’s it. What the hell was the point? Confused a week and it’s done. That storyline could have been paced out over weeks or a couple of months.

The sudden making up between David and Jacob is ridiculous as he couldn't bear the sight of him a couple of days ago. I have a feeling David may receive bad news at his check-up as he was so obviously fobbing it off to Bob as no big deal. That would be a good way for Jacob to come back into the fold as he wouldn't want to be seen as being horrible to David in those circumstances - even though he has been a complete Bratty McBratface recently.

Of course we'll have yet another depressing storyline because god forbid we get anything happy! Besides that I'm guessing he'll need some paternity leave soon so perhaps he'll need treatment only available in space and half the village can go too to support him starting with Doug!
