Esters looking better, but why is she living at dawns? Is she broke?
Tanya is a pain, I do think she is quite jealous,and needs a lot of attention, me me me!
Rachel, don't tell me she has a problem with hubby???

I think the US franchise get paid a lot. Here I bet it's not much but it is a platform for their own "businesses" (dodgy candles etc) and gives them an opportunity to do other shows.

Not only must they have pretty low standards (by the way they behave) so are prepared to put up with drunken brawls for the above benefits but the production company want them to have fights for our viewing pleasure. So in order to keep their place in the franchise, they need to be prepared to engage in said fisticuffs. Pretty easy for most of them so it seems.

I'm going to go against the grain and then hide from the flaming!
I actually think Dawn's heart is in the right place. She's protective and supportive of her friends. But she cannot manage her anger and then ends being judged purely for that. She had a valid point about Seema and Perla being disrespectful to Rachel by being so late but she just becomes so aggressive that her point is lost. She needs to learn how to express her anger in a much better and acceptable way.
And Seema and Perla should have just bloody well sincerely apologised to rachel and acknowledged they were wrong instead of making excuses.

I love that Ester is the reasonable one this series. Hilarious and just goes to show how scripted it is.

However old Perla is, her physique is fabulous.

Dawn’s like an old leather handbag. Too much sun over the years.

Rachel weeping and wailing. He must’ve done something more than just text a woman on Instagram? Surely?

God, the dinner party squabble was pathetic. Dawn just lighting the blue touch paper and then laughing. Ester having none of it. Rachel joining in the pile on and then when Seema leaves, she says she doesn’t want her to leave. Barking.

I think they are recommendations from/friends of current cast members who are then auditioned. Very often a new cast member is someone who has known one of the cast for a while who then gets introduced to the main group.

Dawn can't have a decent conversation. She's one of these people who thinks they win an argument by shouting the loudest, but it's because she can't discuss anything rationally.

Episode 8 was ridiculous...

Rachel did herself no favours joining in with the finger jabbing and shouting.

Dawn was simply appalling showing how she takes the smallest slight and turns it into her aggressively demanding an apology. She might be protective to her friend but these are middle aged women. So what if they don't join your pyjama party?! There were many other occasions these friends have had fun with Rachel on this break. Surely she behaves like this to keep her place on the show.

Esther was hilarious and at her best!

Hope Seema and Hanna now join up and make it clear to Dawn she's crossed the line. Hope Seema stops offering Dawn's children any modelling jobs now. Maybe that's why Dawn's targeted her?

The fights seem genuine but isn't it strange how quickly they make up? And surely most of it's scripted? There are often accidental shots of them smirking at each other during the fights and when Dawn was giving Hannah a dressing down earlier on in the series, they were both trying not to laugh.

Agreed, looks like she showed her true colours too.

I'm not keen on Perla, but she was right when she said that Dawn doesn't know how to talk to people (or similar).

I kind of understand why most of them appear on the programme (publicity for business) but not why they agree to behave like they do. The arguments are loosely scripted and makes them all seem like a bunch of nasty, bitchy mean girls with no class. Not good examples to set to their children.

Dawn was so disrespectful, suprised Seema took so much of it. I like what Perla was saying back to her. Ester I think agreed Dawn was out of line but just didn’t say anything and to bac Hanna because she stays at dawns and cant go against her!

The old adage that there’s no such thing as bad publicity must really be true if this lot think RHoC is promoting their businesses. They are hardly coming across as level headed professionals. I’m not sure I’d want to enter into a contract with Dawn, based on how quickly and violently she flies off the handle. I don’t think Hannah is there to promote her dentistry business, I think she’s there to promote Dr Creepy’s pick and mix practice (Botox? Menopause? Dentistry?).

Either way, all the finger jabbing, swearing, playground insults and drunken slurring tears don’t really cut the professional mustard.
