Just why would you let your child play in a toy car that cost that much. I’d be so on edge! I loved the look of Sam’s Christmas meal - amazing but so so over the top as usual.

It will be interesting to see the bit about little Paul’s school - when Sam said about home education my eyebrows raised alarmingly!

TechnicalSergeantGarp · 29/02/2020 00:51

The Carex product placement is annoying. I won't ever buy it.

Nowifi · 29/02/2020 19:38

I just don't understand why she wants to move to Surrey when she literally lives in her sisters and Mums pockets, why not just move back to Essex? So strange! Unless it's just for the programme which is even stranger!

MaHeidsGouping · 02/03/2020 11:32

She's definitely moving, Louisa Zissman mentioned it on her podcast on Thursday. Even she said she doesn't understand why she'd move there away from everyone.

forevercurious · 05/03/2020 15:59

Just watched last nights episode, I thought it was interesting that Billie and Greg seem to think Arthur rules the roost yet it comes across (to me at least) that Nelly is worse!

The dinner conversation about Sam moving to Surrey was very awkward. I kind of wanted Louisa to stop going on about it.

Poetryinaction · 05/03/2020 23:08

Sam's kids are gorgeous. I think she wants to move to get away from Billie, who is always judging her. I think she has a stronger parenting style and genuinely loves being with her kids. There is a lot of love there.

Poetryinaction · 05/03/2020 23:09

I miss Gaynor. I preferred it when Billie wasn't in it.

Woodlandtrain · 06/03/2020 13:53

I reckon Billie doesn't tell her kids off as much when they're on camera and the children know it!

MaHeidsGouping · 07/03/2020 15:42

Did anyone see Billies IG story this morning, it's Arthurs birthday but of course Nelly is constantly saying "you want some help" before he even has a chance to look at what he has. She is so spolit.

Ifeel1000yearsold · 07/03/2020 16:48

I thought Sam was a bit mean to Billie when they were talking about how they had very different households. It wasn’t said but implied that her parenting was superior to Billie’s , that’s how I felt it came across anyway.

forevercurious · 07/03/2020 17:40

@MaHeidsGouping I’ve just watched the stories and I’m pretty shocked. Arthur looked so delighted with his presents, just taking it all in and there’s Nelly wanting to open them before him. You couldn’t see it but it sounded like she was opening one before him. I always feel for Arthur :(

Starksforthewin · 08/03/2020 03:27

I so agree about Nelly trying to take over Arthur’s presents, and neither parent bothering to stop her.
She co Es across as a very selfish, spoilt child, who acts up if the attention wavers from her for even a moment. I would absolutely not tolerate that.
Billie’s vanity at treating the child as a fashion accessory has caused this. As for asking a five year old if she would sleep in her own bed, words fail me.

I agree Rosie and Paul are much nicer children, Paul will thrive at school, I’m sure.

thismeansnothing · 09/03/2020 12:53

Only just catching up on episode 2. Why was it Rosie and Paul's party when it was Rosie birthday? I always feel a bit sorry for Rosie I know at 2 she'll have no idea what's going on really but surely she could have had the day and party to be just about herself rather than sharing it with her brother. Or maybe that's just me.

MaHeidsGouping · 19/06/2020 13:59

Series 8 has become filming.....I'm guessing there won't be any fancy holidays, huge parties in this season.

Bertucci · 19/06/2020 14:42

I have just been watching this (a repeat, I guess).

The parenting decisions! No wonder the older children are quite bratty. And the mum’s new teeth were absolutely hilarious. Ross from friends came to mind.

I like a bit of crap tv, but the sheer level of vacuousness (and atrocious grammar) is a bit much.

kennypppppppp · 20/06/2020 10:10

plus Billie's house plans have been rejected so i wonder what they're going to do instead

i am still wondering why sam lives in esher. (someone here said it was esher).

i am not going to join big paul's fan club ever

feedingfrenzyatfive · 20/06/2020 22:03

I'm also watching the S7 repeats on ITVBe, having given up on S6 last year because of their grabby natures. @Bertucci is spot on about Nanny Sue's 'teef'.

I don't like Stepdad Dave, although I'd always thought that he was married to Sue. He's a convicted criminal when all's said and done. Dave clearly has an issue with drinking.

Why do I watch it? Errr, it's to discuss it online. What will poor old Billie and Greg do now about their house? Confused

Bertucci · 21/06/2020 09:26

They will get their permission. Architects go as large as they want and then reduce it slightly to get it through planning.

I was pondering, if the ‘th’ sound is an issue for them all, ie ‘Samanfa’, why on earth call one of the children ArFur?

I feel sorry for Samanfa actually. That big personality vacuum she’s with doesn’t seem to like her much.

forevercurious · 29/06/2020 21:02

I’ve just seen on Instagram that Greg has written a series of children’s books based on Nelly and Arthur!

forevercurious · 29/06/2020 21:02

Oops posted too soon, but I did not see that coming at all!

Starksforthewin · 30/06/2020 14:38

I saw that IG post about Greg “writing” books as well.

Someone asked if his ghostwriter was going to correct his “would of’s” into “would have’s” in the proofreading process! 😂😂😂

forevercurious · 30/06/2020 21:02

I’d like to read one just to see what it’s like, I can’t imagine the story being exciting for children at all 😂

It looks like a child designed the front cover too 🙈

MaHeidsGouping · 02/07/2020 11:57

Lets hope Greg has learned how to pronounce Arthur's name before he starts reading the book. The constant Arfer that Greg says is bloody annoying.

Starksforthewin · 02/07/2020 18:11

They’ve stated that ‘some’ of the profits from the book are going to Haven House, the hospice charity.
I would like to know exactly how much is going to Haven House and how much the greedy hustlers are keeping for themselves.
They’ve stopped short of a YouTube channel for Nelly so they have found another way to exploit their children.

Astonishing to see on IG how the huns are lapping this up! 🙄

thismeansnothing · 11/09/2020 14:27

Anyone been watching the new series?
