I agree with the above!! I don’t know why Paul gets SO much grief over not marrying her.
He’s allowed to feel the way he does. It’s not like they are the first unmarried couple with children in the UK. And if Sam really wanted to she would do something about it (ie. ask him or leave or get on with the current arrangement)

I agree they do seem much happier than in previous series, more relaxed too.
Paul should propose to Sam as he knows thats what she wants, they’ve been together for a while and have 2 children together so why hasn’t he. Unless he’s not planning to be with her forever he should just do it but tell her that he wants a small wedding and not a massive affair like Greg and Billie.

Didn’t Sam or Paul mention that they wanted a small wedding?

Maybe Sam is so happy because her and Paul have finally made love this year

^^this is wrong on so many levels, would you be saying this if it was the man that really wanted marriage and the woman didn’t?! I thought it was common knowledge, and sense, that pushing someone into something as serious as marriage, when they’re clearly not ready is a no go and just because you have kids with someone then it doesn’t mean you have to be married, it’s the 21st century and marriage is so outdated imo.

I have a feeling that the posts here would be very different if it was Paul that wanted to get married and Sam didn’t, talk about double standards!

As a PP has already mentioned then giving someone a “marry me or I’m leaving you” ultimatum is shocking and emotional blackmail, I would leave if someone said that to me.

I believe that Sam knew full well that she could get pregnant when breastfeeding baby Paul, but she pretended she never because she thought baby#2 would make Paul propose but it didn’t.

Personally I wouldn’t marry someone that only asked to marry me because viewers of my tv show, my IG followers, and MN posters were pushing him into it, I would prefer it if he absolutely worshipped the ground I walked on and thats why he asked me, I wouldn’t feel secure otherwise.

But they have two children together and she is desperate to get married, it’s selfish of him not to propose and fully commit.

Maybe because she is so desperate, that’s why he’s put off.
And if she was so desperate to get married, why have two babies with him?
I’m sorry but I cannot see why he should get married to her just because she wants to be married.
And yeah right she will have a small wedding if and when it happens.

Paul shouldn't propose and marry Sam just because it's what she wants. What a weird suggestion. That's a recipe for a divorce right there.

Nellys face when she has a tantrum! She seems to be getting worse every episode. Not the best of environments is it, having cameras everywhere, especially when you're a child who likes a lot of attention.

I thought Paul looked really handsome in the photo taken on their first date 5 years ago

Nelly is starting to act quite brattish now, obviously we don't see her all the time just a small snippet but the tantrums seem bad for a 5 year old. I wonder how she gets on at school?

I'm amazed that (a) Billie wore a white vest to a paint shop and (b) it was still white when they left 😂

Nelly is a horror. I would hate to know a child like her. It’s not even ‘just’ the ‘tantrums’, her every moment seems to be demanding things.
Billie has done this child a great disservice. That modelling shoot for “Nelly’s range” was a case in point.

The looks on the faces of the shoot team... and Billie just expecting them to share her indulgence. I swear Billie sees her children as just another fashion accessory. Certainly she uses them for money.

@Poetryinaction It's crazy to me that a man that spent most of there childhood in prison can be seen as their dad when he is the step parent, what was their mum thinking 🤦🏻‍♀️

@Starksforthewin Arthur is going down the same path, I know he is only 2 but she is already giving in to him constantly! She doesn't know how to deal with bad behaviour so just gives them what they want to shut them up!

I doubt there are many 5 or 6 year olds who would happily get changed ,what was it,9 times with new hair styles? That's a ridiculous ask. I'm not surprised she threw a strop,it's the only way she is heard.

Arthur is the same,he was perfectly happy painting by himself but Billie was trying to join in and wasn't listening to him saying no. She kept trying to make it perfect and nice and neat, Jesus, leave the poor kid to do it himself!

I agree, and remember, this is the stuff they let us see! Imagine what happens the rest of the time?

And she was horrified the paint might be in his hair,FFS a quick bath would sort that out!

Nelly is bloody awful, I bet Paul can't stand his precious "little Paul" being around her because of the way she acts.

I see Ferne's show is back this month so that'll be her moaning on hard she has it when she is another one always on holiday.

Sam definitely has the better behaved kids, well Paul is only 3, I think? but imo he’s more of a ‘normally’ behaved child than Nelly, this series then I’m really preferring Sam over Billie, Sam seems incredibly happy atm and it’s doing wonders for her

It’s weird, isn’t it, I am also totally Team Sam this series. She does seem very happy and little Rosie is great fun.

I think Billie has really changed since she got equal billing on the tv show, and had her wedding televised. She is so snide to Greg and her materialism has become so obvious. If she was any kind of a parent she would realise Nelly needs to be out of the spotlight and impose some discipline on her.

I am also much preferring Sam this season which I never thought I would say as I have usually always preferred Billie and co scenes!! Sam and Paul seem very happy together. Can't see Greg putting up with materialistic Billie and her lack of parenting for much longer!

Funny how the tables have turned and it’s Sam we all like, mind you she was always the bigger star before and it’s now funny that she mentioned that she and Paul would have a small wedding when before Billie had her huge Maldives wedding, then Sam wanted the big wedding too! Maybe she was put off after seeing Billies? I still like Greg though, surely he’ll keep Billie grounded?

Paul seems genuinely into Sam this season which is obviously making her very happy
