I can't help thinking and feel free to call me cynical, but All this "We can't/couldn't" find a stylist is all brain washing and propagander. Making people believe that work shyness is rife. Its not like that in the real world. People are desperate and want the work.

I agree that there must be other hair stylists around! Will they just open up when Chantelle can work? Most places have more than one on shift as they tend to open 6 out of 7 days a week and long hours too. Well, the hair salons round my way do.

I think they did do the house up as was building site for ages. So would have made some money. Though silly as nearly a year ago she left so would have Been making what £2600k month rent? Now all those missing mortgage payments will come out of any profit.

Not looking forward to Salon now, although Chantelle is brilliant- Kim and Dee have no skills and will just be watching her do all work and then paying her tiny percentage. Why would you do that? Patrick has only put in £6k and her rich hubby could have bought her a place or rented one anyway.

Ben's accent is just awful: he's like a crap Michael Caine impersonator. "Saa I tol da landlor dat...". Painful.

What’s funny about the accent is that Michael Caine is from Camberwell in SE London, to a Londoner the SE London & East End accents are quite different

I have to say though that I always liked Kim’s house including the decor. She had dark walls long before they became the Istagram interior designer’s favourite thing.

I can’t understand Phil at all these days. During one episode last week I rewound it at least three times before giving up. I find Mitch too hard to understand too.

Use subtitles to understand what they are on about. I use them for every programme these days as too much mumbling going on.
Especially any ' gritty dramas'!

Out of vague paranoia, I watched an interview with the actor from when he was in Waterloo road, he doesn't have a speech impediment. He is a less hammed up version of the Ben voice though, bit Danny Dire.
