I may be way off here but it occurred to me that maybe these were girls like tiff and evie. Maybe that lorry was where Tiff was headed had she not escaped from her dealer “bosses”. So that she could “work off” her debt. They mightn’t risk keeping English kids in England as they stands much better chance of escaping and getting home/calling the police. Ken could be crucial in bringing down a huge trafficking ring.

I’d forgotten about Vincent’s mum (Claudine? Claudette?), but yes she was covered in concrete when they thought she was dead. Then somehow she dragged herself out and to the hospital but her dress was pristine.
I quite liked her. I liked Vincent too, especially with Kim.
