Thinking of that it's strange that Kiera or whatever she was called hasn't come back, she was Ray's sister (who got married & got killed - wouldn't she have shown her face at some point?)

Yes I remember bags of cash in the garage. Though didn’t he undersell the jewellery and later realised it was worth way more?

Then on the ferry he was stopped but got through and when he opened the bag it was newspapers?

Dexter was the son of Cora’s daughter who she’d had adopted. Both characters were in it but I can’t remember the woman’s name

Cora's daughter was called Ava and worked as a school teacher in a leafy school. She came to the square and her life became horrible! ( I think , I remember a controlling ex in it?)
She wasn't in it long.

Jay had the car lot from Phil although I can't remember what happened because he didn't want it and refused to accept it I think.

Phil ha e Jay the car Lott but somehow jay ended up without it (sold to Wilmott brown?) all to do with Jays dad & a storyline that never really panned out.

The subject of rape is brought up too many times I think. The women characters have been through it.

I'm not saying they shouldn't tackle it at all , but so many characters have gone through this and it's not really in the spirit of ' soap entertainment ' ( in my opinion) I think we all know the arguments and can sympathise, but enough is enough now! Rant over!
I've not watched the Ruby trial but I hope she wins!

I agree. Rape is a big topic and it’s important it is covered and covered properly. But sometimes I think soaps rely on it for an “easy” big storyline and sometimes it feels a bit salacious.

Ilove, I do think they ' over egg ' the pudding about a very difficult and sad situation that too many women have had to endure in real life and it shouldn't be used as story lines to gain viewers.
I can't speak for other soaps ( as I don't watch) but EE needs to stop doing them.
