Youarenotkiddingme (Hugs). I hate storylines about cancer, they are as far from 'entertaining' as its possible to get and it can be so upsetting to settle down for a switch off from the day and find it blasting out of your tv screen.

The sisters are terrible. At the moment they are putting them on the screen for a minute in every episode to get us 'used' to them. I'm already dreading when they start to gradually increase their times.........

I thought Mel was going to relent to Ian's advances and get money out of him that way. Now it looks like she will scam money and will blame the girl's inexperience? I wondered at the Re: Your son's court appearance too. Surely 'your son' would have Hunter's name on it?

Yes, I noticed that, lazymum ! Then I thought that actually Whit was wise not to police Tiff's every move because it could be disastrous to clamp down on her too hard. Whit's interaction with Karen showed that she's really very clued up on how young people operate. (Of course I'd make the mistake of escorting her to and from school and convincing Tiff that she'd be better off under Evie's wing than mine! )

Yes. That Ca125 score is astronomically high. The normal level is up to 35. I did see the news on an ov ca site some weeks ago that a character in EE was going to be diagnosed with the disease and they were pleased because it would heighten awareness. But obviously triggering for anyone who's been affected.

Not sure that they were explicit enough about Jean's symptoms. It just sounded like a tummy bug with a bit of bloating. But then that's one of the problems with ov ca. The symptoms are vague and most likely caused by something harmless.

I could do without the scary man knocking on the caravan door in the dark. It seems so unlikely that she'd be letting him in in her nervous state. A pity when the scripts have gone up a notch recently. Apart from the two girls that is.

Also it was a bit sinister the way tiff said 'but I will be coming back won't I?" To Evie! Gulp!

Not sure where Jean is but she’s usuakly scatty - yet creates a faker name and runs to some caravan somewhere and allows strange men into it

I'm really loving Whit at the moment, she has the makings of a wise yet worn-out East End matriarch. She has been hugely underused I think, but could definitely become a legendary character like Pat. She has quite a strong image which reminds me of East End women like Violet Kray: glamour on top of the hardships and difficulties.

But slater towers is always broke and she only works few hours a week so how come has money for train ticket never mind rent a caravan and everything else.

Yes back by 6 that only gives you 2.5h to deal and get into trouble. She’s hasn’t been in touch with the school either. She’s hardly been there or never home to do homework isn’t she 16??

But hers isn't purely ovarian. It's cancer of unknown primary, found having it after it metastasised to lymph nodes in neck and found in peritoneum and ovaries with PET scan.

Youare, sorry to read about your mum. Storylines like this must be hard to watch when people like your mum are undergoing treatment in real life. I hope she'll be alright.
