Stuart is so good because we really don’t know what’s going on with him, most of the other stories are so predictable (max & be woman for example) but with Stuart you just never know

Nancy, Stuart flips in an instant. Really scary and and hard to read. A nightmare person to know in real life, as a soap character you can 'enjoy ' the tension he creates!
(suppose he will be killed off though, baddies don't generally hang around for long)

Just had to come on and say I thought Jean's acting tonight in part 1 was fantastic. I had to rewind her monologue and watch again. I know her character can be annoying but the actress is pure class! Can't wait to see how she plays the rest of the storyline, and i hope the writers do the subject and her justice.

Another Stuart fan. Totally believe he won't take the money but live how he rages in temper anyway and losses the "big scout" image (as Raine called it).

And can't work out if he's scamming her alone anyway or true to his word.

It's interesting how many people love Stu's character when in RL he would be a controlling, violent, abusive partner. His behaviour and unpredictable temper are characteristics that many women on here complain about in their own DP. Just goes to show how bad men are often fascinating, He reminds me of Uncle Fester though.

I’m not a Stuart fan but do agree he’s an excellent baddie.

I think Jean is amazing and I liked how they are showing the conflict between her and Stace and the cancer - I know every persons story is different but my parents definitely tried to protect me and my brother when all we wanted to do was look after them!! I thought the scene with her and Shirl where Jean explained it to her was lovely. They have always had an odd ‘love/hate not a friendship’ friendship!

I agree that Stuart is an abusive horror , but he is good at this flipping his personality and keeps us guessing in the soap.
Stuart has hinted at problems in the past with his childhood , his way of manipulating this information this is also typical.
It's sad that people are like this in real life though , must be awful to live with.
I fear a dark story here with Rainie and him.

Stuart makes a good character because he is complex.
He is obviously clever because he orchestrated Mick being arrested and has managed to blame it all on someone else with no comeback (he may have even got away with murder).
On the other hand yesterday he seemed to genuinely be under the impression that Rainie fancied him, when it was quite clear that she was just after something. So he's not that clever after all?
It helps that the actor is good, like I said earlier it's good to have a character that isn't just predictable - Look at Jack & Max, who was surprised when Jack got together with Mel? Or shocked when Max got another new woman?

The other characters I'm really liking at the moment are Karen and her kids/family.
When they brought them in to the show they did what they always do and made their story too over the top.
At the moment the stories they are involved in seem very real (I know the social worker stuff is rubbish) Karen's reaction to Bailey & her mum have been great and have made the character much more than just the shrieky 'chav' woman (sorry horrible word)

Karen's character is helped by the fact that the actress is very good / believable and same for Stuart. If they were hammy or just bad then we would hate them I guess. I bet Raine ends up killing him or something really big like this. She looks a woman on the edge.
Jay was horrible to ruby ; he isn't normally that blunt or nasty. But I missed part one so not sure why he was like it.

I love Karen even if she has a tendacy to punch her teenage son in the face Shock you really wouldn't mess with Karen Taylor would you! I am struggiling with Mel and the new girls the acting is just awful

Mel is always up to no good. She is a pain at times and I hope Kathy or Ian gets wind of her plans and bring her down a peg.

Mitch doesn’t seem have job or place stay so why dosnt her become his ex carer? He could sleep on sofa and claim carers for short term. He be there for Bailey and stuff. Fact he let his child do all that when he’s free to help and dosnt is awful.

Maxi, good call! Stuart may not read signals from people very well but his good at framing people. She had better watch out.

I think Stuart is still playing games. Saying he was horrible to
Neighbour in meeting etc

Ruby is stroppy and poor jay. She does blow hot And cold

Honey was funny but silly with dentists neive /foster sister

He is very condersening To honey
