I had a bit of a surprise today - happily wandering into the haberdashery dept of John Lewis in Oxford Street, minding my own business when I was confronted with a life sized (I think) cardboard image of Patrick! He was a little casually dressed (jumper, no jacket) & it was promoting a competition with Singer machines.

melen good luck getting it down 5 escalators or trying to find the lift! I was very tempted to purloin it myself but it would have been too obvious, so I took a leaflet instead (purely for the purpose of finding out information about the competition of course).
I've got several pairs of binoculars and a variety of head torches but no listening devices.

I m actually more envious of a browse in a decent haberdashery department than a Patrick Cut Out.
I went to The Range (massive new store) recently and wanted to buy a packet of sewing needles. No chance. All they had was a shed load of pink glittery tat. And a really annoying singing leprechaun (DH and I chased each other round the shop with this, hiding round the corner of aisles in a very childish fashion. Blasted thing wouldn't shut up though)
