I was at the Werq the World tour and one of the queens did a bit asking the crowd who they want to win. Yvie got the biggest cheer. For Silky it was silence followed by boos. WOW take feedback in terms of likeability and I imagine they are getting the same feedback online. So I don't think (and hope) that Silky will get it.

Similar reaction in a US bar viewing party about a month ago. Everyone was booing silky.

A certain very popular season 10 queen has cancelled events this summer, so of course everyone's assuming All Stars 5 is coming Grin

If we had drag race UK season 1, season twelve, THEN AS5 featuring some of the UK queens I wouldn't mind.

Just finished Race Chasers podcast and both Willam and Alaska said how contrived the last lipsync was, and that Brooke Lynn did not deserve bottom two. I pathetically like it when the queens agree with my opinions!

I'm rewatching the series and OMG I forgot how rubbish season 7 is (except Katya) they are awful!!! It's so bad. Violet, Miss Fame, Pearl etc 🙊

Violet is so good now though, she really "came through". I've seen her twice at Werq the World and as my DH described her, she's exceptional. I'm rewatching 7 too rn, such a dud except for Katya.

Season 7 was a bit blah, but it did have some great queens on it I think, Katya is probably my favourite queen ever. Do any of you listen to the podcast she does with her friend Craig? It's called 'Whimsically Volatile' and it is HILARIOUS.

Right so my sister in law introduced me to this amazing show on Tuesday and I'm in love.. I've got Netflix and I'm all caught up with the latest season.. but which of the earlier ones do you suggest I start with? I tried season 1 and it was a bit odd :/

@NewYoiker I'd start with S2 and watch them in order. Some of the early seasons are so good!

Just watching the latest episode - not sure I like seeing a reunion before the final. But that's how it is.

Season 4 was the season that really made me fall in love with drag race, but season 3 had some good queens and very hard challenges, so interesting to watch. I loved Jujubee and Raven in season 2, but nothing else really stands out from that season. My favourite seasons have been 4 and 6.

I would still watch in order, as I like to see how drag develops and changes.
I think all series have redeeming qualities even S1 as it was the first ever and raw. The queens didn't know it had the potential to make them famous (in contrast to Silky hamming it up to the cameras to bag a spin off).

Also in newer seasons (can't remember when they started doing the big crowning of the winner in front of large audiences - I think 5 or 6?) the previous winner crowns the next one so you will end up spoiling any surprises you may have left!

Looking forward to the lipsync knock out though!

Have a good look at Ariel’s lips during the reunion. She’s obviously no stranger to cosmetic procedures, but the lip filler is maxed out and they look like a couple of shiny sausages. Awful!
