Her sketches are good. For the first few minutes. She belabours the point too much, and doesn't know when to stop.
I hated the Dr Who episode when she played the bride - she overacts, and never stops being Catherine Tate. It just jars.

I just can't take CT seriously. The christmas special was good, but to have her every week! I spent the whole time waiting for "am I bovvered?" sigh.

As I posted onm the geeks thread, if it stops her from being that bloody lauren character, then that has to be a good thing surely? The only good thing, I personally can't see it working with her as the companion. Why did they move Martha? I liked her, whereas Catherine Tate is just the same whatever character she plays
