It's great isn't it? I hope he wins both of them, that would be a fab story. It's his first final(s) on home soil as well. And his granny died recently. Come on tennis fate, give him the trophies!

I've been a traitor to tennis since we've been in NZ though I'm afraid - I've been in a dalliance with rugby . (Nothing serious - I don't really understand the rules for a start )

We went to a game here last night and were sitting near the front - some very fine specimens on the field, I have to say...

We had Connacht v Cheetahs on TV this evening. There was an amazing try from Venter for the Cheetahs but then I dozed off. Rugby seems to send me to sleep. Anyway Connacht won so yay! Now I'm wide awake maybe I should watch the replay

That sounds good. I love the tries (and lineouts ) but I am a bit clueless about the rest of it, like what is/isn't a foul etc.

Schwartzman also lost in the Buenos Aires singles final - v Chickenato! Not sure what happened in the doubles or whether it's been played yet...

I've seen some photos from that awards ceremony - I see Boris was there as well. But idk if I can bear to read Novak's speech, in case it's full of cheesy "gratitude" type stuff.

Yes 8pm Florida time is Delpo time!!! Whoop! Still hours to wait though, pesky time difference!

His speech seemed to be very sweet mostly thanking his wife and how he's learnt to have inner strength when things go wrong. Of course he could have gone rambling on for all I know
