Definitely something to do with the bears.

I am fed up,

My virgin box is not working, and they can't send an engineer to fix it til tomorrow(though they think there is a fault in the area). It's a good thing I can't 'watch' any tennis anyway .

Does that mean you can't watch any TV, Raahh.

Am also fed up. I've had this ruddy flu for over 10 days now & every time I think it's going it comes back & leaves me wiped out. I want it to bugger off.

magiI can watch Netflix through a media box thing we have.

Or if i'm desperate, I can watch tv in dd1's room (less hazardous than ds's ).

The flu sounds awful. Should we get Stan to send you a teddy?

Btw, bit late to the party......but that photo of Stan with those women was weird. Has that been photoshopped by someone having a laugh because it looks like some physcadelic (spelling ) dream sequence from Tales of the Unexpected!

I'm very cross, because all the episodes of that I had recorded on my virgin box will now be lost.

( they do repeat them a lot though).

I see the Fed Cup starts tomorrow.

Kazza that weird photo of Stan was from the St Petersburg trophy ceremony and as far as I know, wasn't photoshopped (amazingly). He didn't even win it - imagine going through that to get the runner's up plate!

The Fed Cup in Bath sounds great, I would love to go but no chance at the mo. It's the first home tie they've had in ages isn't it? Has anyone ever been to it?

Private I think sothough when we got the new box, I'm sure there was a way they could retrieve things from the old one. Maybe it can be saved.

Private nope, never been to Fed or Davis Cup. I think the last home tie was 1993 or thereabouts. Have to say though, I don't fancy watching Konta and her ridiculous service action. Saw her on Centre Court once (think she lost to Bouchard, who I can't stand). It was painful, as I remember

I haven't either - I just quite fancy the idea of watching tennis in Bath - or maybe I just fancy a mini break?!! Tennis or not. I like Anne Keothavong - I know she isn't actually playing but she seems nice

Stan planning more bear purchases

Donna is playing Fed Cup. I think it'll be a good tie but I'd definitely want a look round Bath as well. I went a few years ago and the main thing I remember is Sally Lunn's Buns! And the Jane Austen centre. Perhaps Stan could have a cultural few days while Donna is playing?!

What the heck is that logo?

I'd love to go and see all the Jane Austen stuff although she hated Bath by all accounts.

Jane yes she did but they totally glossed over that and just went on about how inspiring she found it!! My friend and I went a bit hysterical tbh - that and the buns pushed us over the edge!!

Stan needs a teddy bear logo!

I have no idea what that alien logo is on Stan's top. The Swiss can be a bit strange at times - I used to work for a Swiss bank, so had to deal with them on a regular basis!
