Just seen the result. What you might call a fairly comprehensive victory for Fed!

In other news...... no cup of tea in bed this morning from 15 year old DS (still asleep) but my dad treated DH, DS and I to a lovely long lunch and yes, alcohol was involved . Trust everyone else had a great day!

It's my wedding anniversary as well as Mother's day, and I got a card and flowers- but I still had to get stroppy with everyone to help me tidy up and stuff. .

We went out out for a cheap and cheerful late pub lunch which was very nice, and I had a glass of wine and came home and fell asleep .

I'm really looking forward to the clay season now- not just because it's where Rafa usually does best, but I always love the venues. And I can work out the time difference without consulting google

Thanks ,Kazza though the mood I was in this this morning, I'm surprised we've lasted 12 minutes, never mind 12 years .

My mum got us a bottle of champagne, I've resisted opening it but may have opened a bottle of wine instead

I know what you mean Raahh It's our 24th anniversary at the end of April and we've known each other over 30 years! We met at nursery school, obviously.....

Hope you have all had good days. DS brought me some toast in bed (on a plastic Ikea plate) and this afternoon we all went out to the kind of cafe they'd never normally want to go to - you know, with bunting etc v nice.

Sad to see your dream of an Isner repeat win didn't come true Raahh! Good that Ash Barty won the women's though - I like her. Would love to see her do well at Wimbledon.

Had a lazy day watching the Gaelic League Final on telly and then got a takeaway.

I'm so happy the time has changed and we'll have nice bright evenings now.

I caught a programme before- The Repair Shop- where they repair people's family heirlooms.

One of them was a very large bear

they're everywhere!!

A couple of years ago I was staying at my Gran's house and during the night I was freezing. She had this shelf full of teddies, dolls etc and one of the biggest bears (it was massive) was wearing socks - so I stole its socks and put them on to warm up

Yes Jane good to see important matters being discussed in the House of Commons. Apparently John Bercow was talking about Judy Murray in parliament the other day - not quite sure why. Anyway good to see Andy Murray up and about although can’t quite see him being back for Wimbledon.

We definitely need some 🎾 - I have to confess that I didn’t watch any of Miami - the lack of Rafa, and the combination of Federer, Isner and Amazon Prime meant that I just couldn’t be bothered

Looking forward to the clay season though - fingers crossed that Rafa stays fit and healthy.
